Stay as far away as you can if you here his name run all he cares about is money dose not give you the time of day .or explain how he spends your money .if you go talk to him he will not be short with you and rud. The whole office is the same . (Stay away please )

I was told my house refinance would be $395 + disbursements. My final bill was $1700! Billed me $125 to send a cheque by regular mail to Toronto. It took 2.5 weeks for payment to arrive. The stamp cost less than a $1. I had also started a new home purchase with him, but after receiving this bill, I cancelled it, and went with a different lawyer. Ken then billed me $500 for pretty much nothing. All the work was done by my new lawyer who charged me less than Ken did for sending 1 payment and opening a file. He said contract was reviewed when I specifically told him not to review it and billed me for phone calls to me, though none were made. The next lawyer I went to charged me less to sell 1 house and purchase another (2 transactions) than Ken charged me to refinance. I would never use Ken again, and due to his high fees and nickel & diming billing, I would definitely not recommend him to anyone!

I went to get a will updated. I was told the price would be 250.00 depending what I wanted from the lady at the front. I took in a marked up copy of my existing will and all I wanted was a few names changed because my father passed. He rewrote the will as if we started over from scratch and never told me how much this was going to cost and sent me a bill for over 700.00.
