I agree with previous reviews that once he has accepted your case, the response delays are unacceptable. You always have to remind him of your case and inquire about the status. He also initiates unwarranted work to be done by his junior lawyers who know less than you do and you have to repeat the information with them once more. You are billed for a bunch of people you had no clue were involved.

Very slow to respond. Passes everything off to paralegals and not aware of what is going on with our file when we try to get an update (which is always us asking, never volunteered).

The work this lawyer did for us was left so late that we were concerned it would not be completed in time. Communication was rude and condescending. Also received a letter informing us that we owed substantial additional fees 23 months and 3 weeks after our paperwork was finalized in 2014.

Honestly, the worst lawyer I could have hired. Communication is slow, and there is a severe lack of action from his side when things go south. I strongly suggest you avoid DVL. He was completely useless when clients broke a contract, and simply passed the back, I ended up hiring another firm. If you want a lawyer who has your best interest in mind, go somewhere else as you will be flushing your money down the toilet here.

Meticulous and contentious in his work. Very personable and approachable. Contractual agreements he drafted have held up exceptionally well. I believe him to be an outstanding solicitor in every respect.
