Me Di Pietro represented me for 3 years. He is an excellent lawyer who knows the law very well. He can work days and nights non-stop. He responds quickly and has no fear and he can bring files forward with vigor when necessary. In the worst situation of my life, he was able to shine a light at the end of a long, endless dark tunnel. I am so incredibly lucky to have had Giancarlo on my team during my divorce. My ex and his lawyer were impossible to deal with, I felt like ripping my hair out everytime I even thought of them. Un allier hors pair. J’avais besoin d’un avocat qui allait avoir notre meilleur intérêt, pour mon fils et moi-même. Je n’ai pas seulement eu un simple avocat, j’ai eu un avocat combatif, compatissant, toujours présent. Il a lever le stresse et ma aidé a naviguer ces moments difficiles. Je le recommande sans hésitation. J’ai toujours senti qu’il était de mon côté et que mes intérêts étaient toujours sa priorité. Il répond toujours à mes appelles, couriels dans un temps records. He was not very competent. He seemed to be trying but he did not know the areas that he needed to know to make progress in our case. He should not have taken on our case if he was not knowledgeable enough in these areas. He also lied quite frequently.

It is difficult to find the right words to say how amazing this man is. He was there for me in an incredibly tough and lonely time and he was there for my two young daughters when we needed somebody the most. He is so reliable and approachable and just a dream come true and beyond. He absolutely moves mountains and is so humble about his whole work. If everyone was like Me Di Pietro the world would be an amazing place to live. Bonus that he has an amazing sense of style hehe. I was referred to Me. Di Pietro originally and am thankful. I have never written a review but felt compelled here. I came with shattered faith in attorneys and a horror story. My immediate impression-he was different, trustworthy and I would feel "protected". Me. DiPietro is brilliant, compassionate, dedicated, intuitive, fearless and there is nobody I would recommend over him! Having been bullied for years by my ex and an attorney who was in conflict, I was able to see a light at the end of a long, dark tunnel because of Me. Di Pietro. I have willingly given Me. DiPietro's name to several people, something I would never ordinarily do. It is with great conviction I tell you if you want decency, heart, knowledge and dedication and a fearless advocate, Me. Di Pietro is your man! I have read he is a "bulldog". I believe he has the heart of a stuffed teddy with the grit of a grizzly bear! If I were to ever need battle again, I would never do it with anyone but him by my side.

Giancarlo is by far the best lawyer I have ever had. No one has ever fought so hard for my daughter and her personal well being. He is an advocate for children. He has saved me more times than I would like to remember. He is the reason that I have sole custody in a province that does not believe in granting primary custody to one parent. Without him, I would have been lost in the system and my daughter would have suffered greatly. I am forever indebted to him. Giancarlo is incredible professional, knowledgeable, caring and the pitbull you want to have on your side. My case was complicated, extremely personally sensitive and scared me to even process with it. Giancarlo was my rock, my constant support and I cannot imagine going through with any of it without him. He was available, communicated extremely well and walked me through each step of my case. I was subpoenaed 4 business days prior to a court date. My lawyer was in court the first day, and off the next. The subpoena was partly acceptable but had slanderous statements. I gathered years of records, disproving the claims. With less than 48 hours to court, my lawyer recognized I needed a more aggressive lawyer and contacted Giancarlo. In an hour I was in his office.
Giancarlo has a positive energy, and strategic. I returned the extra content he requested at midnight. The next morning I read his draft response. he told of potential worst case court rulings either side of his counter, of a more subtle stance, and how each might play out long term. He told me a smart person would avoid escalating a legal dispute. He helped me realize, an aggressive response was the only way to end it reasonably, with appropriate routine and protocol. Late evening I received a call, had my last meeting with Giancarlo to sign an agreement.

I have found myself not actually divorced.A highly respected notary I have dealt with recommended the firm of Brigitte Brunet avocats.She specifically mentioned Mr.Di Pietro,stating his tenacity and work ethic was above the norm. I had no idea that because of the complexity of my case I would be interacting with Mr.Di Pietro for over a year.He has been compassionate and kind and his grasp of the law encyclopedic.He made sure I understood the scope of the case and the possible scenarios.I have been with him in court and seen he is well respected by his peers.I will also bring attention to the other reviews on this site reinforcing mine.The process of divorce is costly,but after seeing the amount of work that has gone into my case.The fees are more than justified. Best lawyer ever. I have 3 years of highly contested divorce proceedings. With previous lawyer my ex got shared custody with bad arrangements for the child (eventually 7/7). Me Di Petro stepped in almost before final hearings, and managed to do impossible. I got much better custody arrangement which is appropriate to the child. Me Di Pietro is ALWAYS available, very fast in getting the situation and in finding the best solution. Very knowledgeable and high professional lawyer. Sometimes he seemed like an encyclopedia of law, always ready to give you legal reference to the CCQ or similar cases. Always was prepared for any issue we had to deal with, and we had A LOT! He always kept me informed, always was offering few options of steps to be done, always tried to save my emotions and my money, and he did it! Truely an amazing lawyer who was meant to do this in life. He has been handeling custody issues with my family for several years now. He is extremely knowledgeable and on point. I would without question recommend Me Giancarlo Di Pietro. He is straightforward in his approach. His approach is to first try to come to a speedy resolution, and I never felt like he was taking advantage of the vulnerable position people going through in a contentious divorce often find themselves in. If it comes down to a fight, he is definitely up for the task. My ex had an extremely unethical yet seasoned lawyer and Me Di Pietro proved to be a more than worthy adversary.

I could not have been more dissatisfied. He was reprimanded by the Court while he simply stood there with a befuddled look on his face. The judge gave him a dressing down because he used recordings and it was a waste of time and money. So angry.
