I retained April to handle my custody battle. She did not beat around the bush with me. She was honest and upfront with me on all points. She is always quick at answering my emails and usually within a couple hours and often on evenings and weekends. I felt April had my back and really cared about me and my kids. I am a single mother of 3 on a fixed income. April and her staff really went above and beyond the normal 9-5 Monday to Friday work day to help me and even allowed me to set up a payment plan. I am grateful to April and her staff for the time, effort and the results.

I obtained April as my lawyer for my divorce. The only positive I can say is she responds to emails fairly quickly...but that's in order to bill $42.50 for each one. She would respond to inquiries with "let me do some research for you" meaning increasing my bill. If I am paying $425/hr should she not know the answers to basic divorce, child support etc questions. She double billed, made so many errors, did not complete the order made from the judge so I was left with absolutely nothing. All that after being billed over $50,000. Her main objective is to fight with the other party to the divorce and their lawyer in order to increase her pocket book. She has no regard for her clients best interest. Run!!!

April handled the start of my divource and wasnt effective in getting me a fair ruling, my file was then sent to a hirer priced lawyer in her firm, not at my request. April dropped or couldnt handle the case and the new lawyer that took over was worse and at twice the price. I cant recomend anyone to put your life in this law firms hands. Totally not impressed and let down is the kindest way of putting it.
