I think Karl still believes he works for the Crown's office. If you want a lawyer that doesn't consider your discolusre and only uses the Crown's disclosure to base your case off, then Karl is your man. He'll gladly take $7,000 to enter a guilty plea for you. After firing Karl, I hired a new attorney that was able to get my case dismissed. DO NOT HIRE KARL TOWES. Who needs a Crown prosecutor when a lawyer like Karl is on defence!

First and foremost I want to thank Kruse Law firm and there professionalism. Samantha and Mr.Karl Toews were extremely helpful and kind. I won’t post my case but it was a tough one and so glad things turned out the way they did, and that was due to the exceptional experience Mr.Toews and the firm have. Highly recommend the firm for any case you might have and that they also don’t rip you off either when we are already going through tough times with our case.

I was in trouble, Big Trouble! I was charged by the London O.P.P. with impaired and failure to provide. I was not impaired and in my opinion treated unfairly by police. I contacted Kruse Law in London, and was put in touch with Mr. Karl Toews. In the first few minutes of our conversation, it was obvious the Mr. Toews was an expert. I did hire Mr. Toews and we went to trial. Police are like anyone else they make mistakes. Mr. Toews spotted those mistakes and protected my rights. Our result was NOT GUILTY on both charges. This was not an easy case, and the odds were not in our favour. Karl Toews and Kruse Law saved my hide, and I will forever be grateful.

Karl Toews is an amazing lawyer! Karl & his team are professional & extremely knowledgeable. Mr. Toews was able to lower my offence from an over 80 to careless driving. I have never been in a situation where I needed a lawyer & Karl Toews was able to explain in detail possible outcomes & next steps within the case. Mr. Toews and his team were always available when I had any questions & were able to promptly answer them. I recommend Karl Toews if you are ever in a similar situation; my case did not go to trial & with Mr. Toews extensive knowledge of the legal system, he was able to communicate with the crown as to why the charge should be dropped to careless driving. Amazing job. he took his time with me, and explained everything in excellent detail. He was quick to respond to any question and/or concern that I may have had. I felt he was very honest with me. He explained situations and meanings in a simplistic way when I did not understand the terminology. I was comfortable talking to him, and he is very knowledgeable. He works in a professional manor. Mr. Toews and the Kruse Law Firm expertly handled my case and essentially gave me a second chance to pursue my dreams. I was charged with Impaired Over .80 and from day one Mr. Toews was professional and wise. He immediately noticed there were very prevalent issues in my case and he worked to see that those issues worked in my favour. As he put it: "This case would definitely be perfect for a law school exam". I feel that understanding these complications of the case, despite seemingly overwhelming evidence against me is a testament to his knowledge. Thanks to Karl I will never see a criminal record. I was offered a careless driving ticket + $500 fine instead of a criminal record.. I'll take it. I also like that since I live in the GTA, Mr. Toews did not require me to visit for every check in (unless I wanted to). I would never call a situation like this a "win" because no one wins when it comes to impaired driving. But I am grateful for the help I've received. NEVER drink and drive.

I didn't feel that he was truly listening to me. He never had the answers to my questions and he had to constantly consult with his boss before replying to me. He charged me $3500 for a guilty plea i could i have done myself for free. The most communication i received was when they wanted more money. Kruse Law Firm is a rip off and is ONLY about the money! I should have looked at this firms other lawyers' ratings before i chose to retain them. Don't buy the hype with these guys! I am extremely disappointed and you will be too!
