As a physcian, my ethics are primary, and if I cannot help somebody it does not necessitate me to charge them $600 to say 'I cannot take on your case' This is what happened when I met her for a consult. Most lawyers provide a 30 min consult without charge. I met her with great expectations and all she did was charge me to say she could not assist me. Biggest Disappointment. Essentially, she did not want to take on the case, due to the fact she know my current lawyers, but did not have the integrity to convey this, yet she still charged me $600 for a 15 min assessment. Articles in the national post are great, but don't believe the hype always folks. I found a lawyer who was much more compassionate and did the job for me at the fraction of the price. Thankfully she didn't 'take on my case in the end. AVOID THIS LAWYER AT ALL COST!
