Regarding the professional conduct of Adetayo Akinyemi as an attorney practicing in Canada. I believe it is important to share these concerns publicly to inform others about my experience. He requested additional funds but failed to provide an official invoice for the requested amount and he then decided to cease all communication. He refused to appropriately remove himself as the legal representative on my application, leading to him continuing to receive and withhold my immigration documents and info. i almost missed the deadline to submit them. My attempts to reach him were met with unresponsiveness. He blocked my calls and had his secretary to say he's in meetings. He consistently ignored repeated emails in which I requested that he withdraw himself as my legal representative. As a result of these experiences, I caution others who may be considering retaining Mr. Akinyemi's legal services to exercise due diligence and consider their options carefully.

This is the most arrogant, and disrespectful lawyer I have ever known. He will yelled at you on the phone and will refuse to answer your questions. When you call him, he is always in a hurry, and would rush you to go off the line. He wouldn’t listen to you and he basically would do everything in his office by himself as if he doesn’t hire an assistant. I retained his service in 2016 for my son and messed up everything because he wouldn’t listen. My son’s application was denied because he did something different. He asked me to pay him the second time and the application was also refused.

Pls don't waste your money, is a jack of all trade, very arrogant, lair and he doesn't keep appointments, he will tell you a bunch of lies to hire him after you will see his true color. I hired him as my divorce lawyer and he did very poorly, he convinced me to agree to nonsense during my divorce case.

Mr. Akinyemi handled my case very well. given that he has been practising for over a decade I put my faith in his expertise in immigration law. I was granted permanent residency just a few weeks ago. I couldn't have achieved this without him. Thank you barrister.

I retained Mr. Akinyemi to help fight a criminal conviction and I felt like there was someone who was actually in my corner. He made sure I understood all my legal rights, put forward a strong defence for my case and spent a ton of time prepping with me for trial. He was attentive and answered all my questions about the process and I didn't feel pressured or rushed to make a decision. I felt confident walking into court knowing that I had mr.Akinyemi on my side. Obviously getting charged is a stressful situation and he helped me feel comfortable because I could tell he knew the details about my case and also has many years of experience. Def recommend! Fantastic defence lawyer

This person has 0, actually less than 0 integrity and will do EVERY unethical practice to win a case. He is threatening and one of the most unethical person I have ever come into contact with. Hes not only a dishonest lawyer hes a disgusting as a person. I realize this maybe common practice for lawyers, but I don't know how anyone sleeps at night, hiring such a nasty individual. If you have just as much of an evil spirit as he does, then he is the right lawyer for you. If you have a little integrity in yourself, then RUN! LOOK FOR ANOTHER LAWYER

He sucks. I asked for him to represent my case, he passed it on to his girlfriend.... She lost my case... I would not recommend him or her... He refused to return my calls and emails,and so did she...

Mr. Akinyemi is smart and devoted. The time he put into my case no other lawyer would have done it. He works 7 days a week!!! He makes time for his clients. I worked with him and listened to him. He managed my case well. He prepared me for the result. I could not be happier with all he has done for me. Thank you Mr. Akinyemi

He is a good lawyer. Professional and works for you. You also have to keep on top of things, don't just sit back and expect miracles. You also have to care about your own case. If you don't, who will? It's commonsense. I listened to him, and I did my part and kept on top of things and my situation was completely resolved.Ask him questions, do your own research too and ask his advise. Be interested in your own case. If you have evidence that could help with your case, even something that seems inconsequential, ask him about it. This helped me a lot in my case. He works everyday, even Sundays. Would you want to work for free? Neither would I. So pay your fees. He is a good lawyer and I am so relieved now that it's all over.I am free and have peace of mind again.
