We were referred to Mr. Hamilton by another attorney, so we thought it would be a good situation. Wrong. The only thing he was good at was telling us how the judge would rule, and he was right, but he was horrible for the entire process. He didn't take copies of paperwork I brought to the first g+meeting then later claimed he'd never seen it before. Communication was non-existent. He'd ask via email for a phone call interview then never call when he said he would, nor would he return phone calls. He is definitely not an aggressive lawyer in the least. He sat there in the hearing and just took notes. $3000 for not doing any research on case law, shooting down any arguments we might have had to try to defend against allegations, and just questioning me in court? Definitely not worth the money. Find a different lawyer because this one will not fight for you!

This guy full on tried to railroad me. None of what I plead to was what I got charged for and when I asked him what happened he lied to my face and said we never had a verbal agreement or even had that conversation. He never returned a single call the only way I got him to answer was to call back to back until he did. I paid him 3000$ and still haven't received a fee agreement which is required by law in California any time you pay a lawyer over $1000.
