We hired and paid Michael to file some documents for us with the government. He took our money while making lots of promises, he continually claimed to be working on our behalf for months. When I finally got tired of just getting empty promises and no results, I asked him to simply send me copies of the documents he supposedly filed on our behalf and he stopped responding to me. We have received nothing for weeks now. I advise you to find another more professional lawyer who will actually work on your behalf instead of just taking your money.

I can prove EVERYTHING I state in this review.
I hired Michael Casaretto June 2014 to handle a divorce case. He called me several times trying to get me to hire him after he got my name from another attorney as a referral. After I hired him and he got his money, the calls stopped, he became impossible to find and my case continued without me actually having responsive representation. I have at least hundred recorded and documented telephone calls to him that have gone unanswered, at least that many text messages and many more emails. He initially blamed his former law partner for not following up with me. Then, he blamed his iPhone, his email provider, his phone carrier, claimed he was sick and to top it all off, he blamed the opposing attorney for not returning his calls and finally, the judge (for being unavailable).
PLEASE do NOT use this attorney. You will lose your money. I have filed a formal complaint with the Texas Bar.
