Family Law is an overwhelming process but Glenda in my difficult times has been my voice and guiding light in my documents. She was not only great in doing things done but amazing in conveying what must be done. I have worked with her 2 times and all this time the help she provided is above and beyond. In my first conversation with Glenda, she seemed knowledgeable and pointed out facts other lawyers hadn't considered in my case. However, she had lost my intake form and asked to reschedule. I called her on the rescheduled date and she hung up as soon as I said my name. I emailed her immediately after to see if I had the wrong date and she responded saying her cell battery had died. So, again she was unprepared for our meeting. I then tried contacting her by email three more times to set up another time to talk. She never responded. I have now wasted more than two months trying to arrange an appointment with her instead of moving my case along. It's too bad. I enjoyed my initial conversation with her and felt she was empathetic and would be of value, but her lack of time management and professionalism were unbelievable. Especially sad when she knows my case involves abuse and a young baby and speed is of the essence.

GP is an amazing lawyer. It can be frustrating as a father navigating the family court system alone feeling like you aren’t being heard, and when you speak up you get labelled “aggressive”. GP gave me the best shot I had at being heard. She gave me a voice. She taught me how to present myself, and to not let things frustrate me. She is known and highly respected by her colleagues, and rightfully so. I have been in the family court system for a while now and GP is by far the most ethical lawyer I have seen. I trust her. She doesn’t put up w bs, and tells it how it is. I admire that. She represented me for one motion and a 10 day trial on a limited scope to make things easier on me financially. She asked that I put in a lot of work, but whatever work I put in she put in twice as much easily. Glenda Perry was the #1 lawyer recommended to me for my situation, and let me tell you she didn't disappoint! From the first call, Glenda was very proactive & tenacious. She is extremely knowledgeable about the law. She doesn't sugarcoat things & is very realistic about court proceedings/outcomes. Her sincere concern for me & my children and blunt honesty made me feel comfortable and allowed me to put my trust in her. Whenever I was unsure or wary about something, I always felt confident in her advice. Let me be clear about working with Glenda, she is a straight shooter and the fighting lawyer you want in your corner, but (for me in my own experience with her, it could be different with others) she expects you to hold up your end of the fight for the legal outcome you want. You have to be willing to do the work & communicate clearly with her. As long as you are proactive, you'll love her. Glenda Perry represented me in a very high conflict case involving domestic abuse, police and CAS. She has a very high success rate in bringing motions and having them granted. She was able to bring in a motion for temporary sole custody for me in just a matter of 3 days and it was granted. I can't begin to describe how lucky and grateful I am to have found her. She works day and night, being in contact via email back and forth at 3 in the morning, weekends, any hour of the day and gets the job done. She is not only the best family lawyer out there but over all a very compassionate person especially towards the victims of abuse. She makes it her mission to get justice for them. She is very knowledgeable and very well prepared and makes the other party look incompetent infront of the judge, I have seen this happen first hand while she was representing me.

I met Glenda Perry at the family courts at young and shepherd. When we met she was not interested in my case because she claimed if legal aid only give me 12hrs of time that it won't be enough to take a contempt case. She then reviewed my legal aid certificate and discovered that it was 24hours. She then finds interest in the case. Right then and there I should've known she was only about the money. She asked me to gather all necessary paper work. I spent 3days running around to get these papers ready when I got them ready she agreed to meet. But then I told her I have some new info. She then reschedule the meeting because she needed to add this new info to her draft. I didn't understand why we couldn't have still met and she took the one sheet of paper and add it after our interview. I emailed her the paper work and she set a date to meet and for three weeks Glenda has not returned nor answer my call. I used another number to call her and she answered.1000 unprofessional excuses.BAD

She is a very opinionated and judgmental person. As a lawyer she is very unprofessional and a feminist. She believed she was going to win my case by bullying the other party’s lawyer.. wrong… the judge sided with the other party just because she saw my lawyer’s attitude in court. The judge also noticed how unprepared and unprofessional my lawyer was. She also thinks she is above others just because she is a lawyer.. wrong again…what goes around comes around and one day sooner that later her karma will come back to hunt her.

Terrible, met her at Ontario Court of Justice working as Duty Counsel. A real bully, mean, patronizing & obviously didn't care to help me at all. Complained to the Ministry, never had any duty or advice counsel at any court in 8 years treat me that rudely. Cannot recommend at all, sorry. Have a physical disability and feel she discriminated and treated me like I was stupid. Also wasted my time then tried to humiliate me for no reason. Implied I was too cheap to hire a lawyer, but I truly can't afford one. I have to eat too, she had absolutely no humility at all. Very nasty, don't entrust someone like this with your family's well-being, that's for sure.
