Although my first few interactions with Serena Lein were positive, my experience with her quickly deteriorated as she proved herself to be an incompetent lawyer. Her work was substandard - full of spelling and math errors which I had to correct on every review of her work. Although she was attentive at first, I soon had to prompt her for progression of my file. Finally, I had to find out through my ex-spouse's lawyer that Ms. Lein had left MacDonald and Partners to work for with my ex's lawyer, a shocking conflict of interest violation. After one meeting, MacDonald and Partners refused to answer my calls or return my emails asking the status of my separation agreement, essentially ghosting me, after taking thousands of dollars. I had to start my separation process all over again, delaying my divorce for almost two years.
