Anything out of the ordinary throws him off guard. Get a better lawyer if what you require involves any forethought and planning for a trial setting and what may unfold there. He won’t be prepared. Arrogance seems to prevent him from doing the work or research. He is used to doing run of the mill cases and pleading out- anything else is beyond his skill set.

Civil case. He didn't have a clue about the situation. Caught completely off guard. Horrible communication. Actually called to set a meeting for next day where he came to meet me, sat down and said,"you're going to lose, sign this." That after almost 5 years. He admittedly didn't know the legalities until a colleague somehow pointed it out. You would think at some time during a 5 year period he would have done his homework and known whether the case was strong....which over the 5 years he repeatedly told me how solid the case was and how he "ONLY TAKES WINNING CASES." So much for that!

James and Kristen were very helpful in helping our family with some tough charges and remained were peronable as well as professional in dealing with my family. I would highly recommend them to any family in need of a good lawyer and assistant for their legal issues.

Jim Zegers really looked out for me. He explained everything to me in wording that I could understand. He made me feel like I was and still am a member of his family. Kristen is compassionate and professional and her communication with me was excellent, she is a 5 out of 5. I would recommend this team to all who need help in the court system.

My experience with this law firm was pleasantly professional. Compassionate and friendly providing solid,honest advice. Prompt response time with excellent communication and clear instruction. In result with extensive knowledge and expertise the greatest outcome was achieved! I was acquitted of my charge giving me my life back. Would highly recommend Zegers Law for even the most difficult cases. Truly appreciate the outstanding efforts they provided me.

Very unprofessional and unethical. He lied multiple times to me. On top of this, he laughed at me and gave me poor legal advice. His legal team is poorly organized and lack time management skills (often contacting you the night before an important meeting) Overall, failed to represent in appropriate way. Wouldn't recommend to worst enemy and think the bar association should consider taking his licence away

Amazing service. These people are understanding and flawless. They are organized and thoughtful to your situation. Financially affordable. Jim showed up to court with the our file in a tabulated bound note book with all the details. He outlined everything the take away was a peace-bond. Highly intelligent and respectful. Best lawyers and paralegals that has ever worked for us.
