I have called & sent emails to DeRusha Firm many times regarding my issues with Syed Kabir. Syed Kabir, my younger brother was born in Al Bayda, Libya. Syed Kabir has illegally taken control & confiscated the inheritance lands of our father, Dr. Kabir which is worth US$ 5 Million Dollars. There is an investigation on all our passports due to our mother, Raushan Kabir who put false information in our passports. Currently, there are inheritance civil land cases against Syed Kabir and my other younger brother Nazmul Kabir. Syed Kabir & Nazmul Kabir both have illegally altered the land papers of our inheritance lands in Bangladesh by removing my name from the inheritance land documents. They are bribing officials & they have put my life at risk in Bangladesh.

Syed Kabir assisted me with a complicated and ugly estate dispute. Prior to engaging Syed's services I had been using another litigator for 2 years. There was a breach of confidence with that person and i needed to find another litigator fast. I watched a great YouTube video of Syed talking about legal self representation the benefits and caveats. I thought i am going to contact this lawyer for help. It was like night and day!! Syed really smart and strategic. He knows Ontario estate/trust laws and is up to date on all the precedent setting case law that assisted me in my dispute with difficult and greedy beneficiaries. I am recommending Syed to my friends and family. I wish i had found Syed at the beginning of my executorship. He would have saved me loads of money, through and maybe i would have less grey hair on my head :)

In this profession knowledge should be a given and compassion and caring are bonuses. Syed is both knowledgeable, thorough and caring which are great combination to be on your side.

I met Syed in regards to my family matter (custody and access) and from the first meeting; Syed was very professional and gave sound advise. He was very transparent about the results and the cost as well as directed me towards the right steps. He is extremely knowledgeable on the court proceedings with an honest acknowledgment of my situation. The law clerks Brenda and Amanda are very friendly and sympathetic. The entire staff is very welcoming which is excellent customer service to us clients in these difficult times. I'm grateful to God for having me find Syed at Derusha law firm. I had met with multiple lawyers (big names) and none of them were courteous to acknowledge my situation. I'm thankful to Syed for helping me to get more unsupervised access with my children within a year of retaining him as a lawyer.

Syed was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain all aspects of separation agreements, divorce proceedings, custody and support requirements. Most importantly he checked in regularly on how I was emotionally, while being objective in his recommendations. Highly recommend Syed.

Syed Kabir has proven to be a competent, knowledgeable & concerned lawyer. My sister & I met with Kabir regarding my mother's estate. He helped with the confusing aspects of both the federal & provincial governments. His expertise was much appreciated. His staff was courteous & helpful. There are so many steps to take for an estate and he was there all the way.
