I hired Ms. Sanders in Feb. 2014 to assist me with obtaining a divorce/child custody/support. I had already been separated from my estranged husband for the mandatory one year, as stated by Louisiana law, so I believed the divorce would be fairly quick and the child custody/support would follow shortly thereafter. However, there seemed to be nothing about dealing with Ms. Sanders that was "quick" or simple. Apparently her campaign for District Judge at the time, prevented her from handling her clients cases in a timely manner or even bothering to communicate at all. Long story short, after finally getting to court in May of 2014, Ms Sanders took another month to produce actual divorce papers and completely FORGOT to include the child custody/support papers. In the end after multiple unreturned calls to her office, I was directed from the DA office to the Judge who presided over my case & he was kind enough to do her job for her. In mid September, 3 1/2 months after court my court date.
