Matthew Yates is one of the best lawyers I’ve worked with in the Kootenays. He always took the time to listen to me and never hesitated to answer all of my questions regarding my case. I highly recommend him if you’re in a bind.

Matthew Yates should be barred from practicing law in Canada after what he did to me. After his employer, Terry Napora of Napora Law passed on, Matthew did not inform me of Terry's death nor did he communicate with me after June 24th, 2015. Several attempted phone calls to Matthew were not returned and he has basically left me stranded and possibly without ever achieving justice and remuneration from my wrongful dismissal case. A deadline was set of July 28th, 2015 for all claims to be submitted against my former employer, re CCAA restructuring in which I was not aware until after the BC law Society became the custodians of my file on that very date. So now I am told that I have no hope in ever prosecuting my employer or receiving compensation for all of the wrongful acts they committed. I believe that Matthew Yates is responsible for causing my chances for justice served and loss of damages. Terry Napora if alive today would be shocked over Matthew Yates conduct and ethics T.Charter

Matthew has been an amazing lawyer. He is understanding, compassionate and very knowledgable! The entire firm is amazing at what they do.
