I've used this lawyer a few times, probably four or more. Honestly one out of those four times did I get a happy ending, and truth be told it wasn't him that got me the great deal it was the judge who came up with the plan for me. Douglass has let me down numerous times and wouldnt recommend him to my worst enemy. He's lazy, not organized at all and never did a thing I asked him to do, he's forgetful and you would think that a lawyer your paying cash out of pocket would schedule multiple appointments whether be it phone or in person but he doesnt. He gets mad at you and yells at you and honestly I think he would make a better crown prosecuter than a lawyer. With the results I've received from him he might as well been a damn crown. Few of my friends also agree stating that he has even forgot about court dates. Save your money and get a real lawyer because I believe a shoelace could have done better than him. Thanks for nothing douglass maybe you should think about different job

I didn t hear from my lawyer douglas till a few days before court I was worried he forgot but nope douglas was rite on with what my case was about and what he was going to do for me I was so happy and releaved when I talk to him.he was a man with a plan to get me off of all charges and he did he's amazing I will for sure no doubt call a pin him again if I find myself in trouble. You never know if a lawyer will really protect you before you enter into an agreement with the lawyer. Be extra careful with sugar-coated statements from unethical lawyers. Before Doug, I retained an unethical lawyer and terminated the contract with that lawyer. Doug is honest lawyer. Retaining him, I can see that he did the best to protect me. I highly recommend Doug to people looking for a lawyer who will really be on your side.

Two years ago. I was in a tough situation & found my self seeking legal representation.I met with a handful of lawyers.I was more than impressed with his knowledge of the law & more importantly his honesty.Luckily I did not need to retain his services.But I decided to save his number just in case I found my self in the same situation. Recently I found my self in the same situation & was seeking legal advice.So I gave Douglas a call.The call was after hours & I could not believe he actually answered.After speaking with Douglas for more than hour & listening to his legal advice. My problem was solved.I offered to pay for his services but he politely declined & firmly stated that he offers a free consultation. In the last few years I've been dealing with Doug on a number of different matters with some past people in my life. He was professional, honest, and super polite - regardless of what each person had on their record. Recently I found myself in a problem concerning traffic. Knowing Doug wasn't a traffic court but actually criminal defense, I opted to give him a shout anyway because of those other pleasant experiences. Thankfully, he helped me out of my situation anyways. I would highly and happily recommend him. I have minimal dealings with lawyers and no prior dealings with those whom specialize in criminal law, but I will say that I was very impressed with Doug and I would happily retain him again in the future (though hopefully that is not necessary). He obtained the best case scenario for me, was extremely knowledgeable, and prompt to respond to all my concerns and text messages... something that I believe is very rare. I reccomend Douglas to anyone. Hes honest and straight to the point.Doesnt sugar coat anything. He genuinely cares about you, he went above and beyond to help me, figuring out different ways to achieve a successful outcome. Douglas is hard to get ahold of once in a while, that comes with dealing with any lawyer. He has always returned back to me through email,text or phone call.Doug is very trustworthy and non judgemental, which I have found to be hard to find in the past. He believes in re growth and change, but I too, in my situation also had to put in my own work. My experience with Douglas started with an unfamiliar situation for me. I had been charged with my first criminal charge, and knew I had to discuss my side of the story with an impartial expert. Everyone has a story.
First Douglas listened to me, and gave me the unfiltered truth about my situation, its consequences, and our possible plan of defense. This man lives and breathes the law of the land.
Secondly, when I decided to pick Douglas as my lawyer he was punctual in all communication; open to any questions I had for him, and well prepared.
Lastly, Mr. Lee got results in an extremely unfavorable situation for myself. The judge seeing my case commended Mr. Lee for his impressive case. My charges were dismissed, and I am not guilty.

Douglas Lee is a skilled lawyer and negotiator and he actually gives lawyers a good name. I was looking at two years on my charges and he got it reduced to a peace bond before I even knew what was going on. I can't recommend him highly enough. He pretty much saved my life. People sometimes make mistakes and he came thru for me like Superman. Not only that he's a pretty nice guy personally and even though I'm completely ignorant of how the legal system actually works, I never got the impression that he was talking down to me. If things go bad for you for whatever reason Douglas Lee is the Man you want in your corner. Plus I didn't have to mortgage my house to retain his highly skilled services. Doug is an amazing lawyer. I got myself involved in something petty and uncharacteristic. I was ready to plead guilty to avoid having to pay for a trial due to being laid off and he encouraged me to move forward with no additional fees due! Not only that, he literally dealt with everything while I vacationed in Thailand and got all the charges dropped in the end. I had met Douglas outside the court room and i asked if he was legal aid and he told he was an actual lawyer and further asked me what my situation was. I told him was planning on pleading to a lesser non-record offence and he suggested i take to court. After getting disclosure and reviewing it with me he felt comfortable to move forward and he got the whole case dismissed entirely. Im currently a student and if I would have suffered from these charges it would have heavily impeded my life.
