The worst mistake I ever made
I'm a black male, that worked at NJ department of transportation for over 10 years. Throughout my tenure there I was repeatedly called N^&&%= along with other racist terms. Riback said "this is a slam dunk case", as some coworkers admitted to the open racism. My attentions from the beginning was to be compensated monetary for the discrimination and moved to another work site. Riback did the unspeakable and agreed with the request of the state lawyer to resign me from my position. Leaving me on unemployment! !! When I objected Riback request to sign resignation papers, he said, " if you don't like the way I handled your case, find a new lawyer". But even with a new lawyer the state was unwilling to rehear my case.

This attorney emailed me this "Most of my clients are black and with some exception they have manors". He also emailed me "I gave you three options. please take one. if you are booking the room and paying for it I need a four star hotel within 15 minutes of the court house." The grammatical errors are intentional as I copied email verbatim. This attorney illegally charged me a 40% retainer and then tries to get me to pay for his hotel, and only a four star lol. This attorney did not adhere to: 1:21-7. Contingent Fees (b) An attorney shall not enter into a contingent fee arrangement without first having advised the client of the right and afforded the client an opportunity to retain the attorney under an arrangement for compensation on the basis of the reasonable value of the services. In addition he charged 40% and the rules are: an attorney shall not contract for, charge, or collect a contingent fee in excess of the following limits:(1) 33?% on the first $750,000 recovered
