I had a horrible experience with this law firm & Laurie Burrows, and I am still dealing with it. I hired a female lawyer with the firm and after discussing the billing for work to be done and over paying for the work agreed,. A final bill was issued to me. I agreed to the final bill based on what had been done for me. The lawyer left this law firm to open a new law firm. The owner- Laurie Burrows(whom I did not know the entire time while using the law firm) issues me a summons to court for an ambiguous amount that he feels he is owed. My file was held for the payment he wanted when I needed it for the actual court hearing that my file was worked for. A child support application. I am still dealing with this and have had to pay to respond to his small claims action. As a single mother of 4 trying to provide for her children.. I am writing this to warn others not to use this law firm. I would hate for this horrible situation to happen to another person. I am in the middle of a vendetta

Laurie Burrows was hired as my divorce lawyer a few years back and I had to FIRE him because of his careless lack of attention he gave my case. He had too many cases on the go and was not very organized. We were scheduled for a court hearing and the morning of, his office told me that Mr. Burrows had taken the day off for a curling tournament. Save your money and find a more reliable lawyer.
