My experience was very positive. She is soft spoken but very intelligent. Pays attention to detail. Her focus does deteriorate after about an hour if you meet her in the afternoon, so make sure you deal with her in the morning. Her rate is reasonable and my impression is that she does not spread herself across to many cases. Ideal for self represented litigants (which I was).

I completely disagree with the other reviewer. Ms. Barmania helped me out of a difficult and complex family law mess. She worked with her partner at the time, Michael Miller, and I wish they could have kept representing me as they were very child-focused and doing a great job. Unfortunately a conflict of interest was called and I had to change firms. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her for a minute. Detail-oriented, tenacious and listened to me as her client. She cared about me and my situation, not just the retainer which in family law is rare these days.
