Do not look any further or waste your money on other lawyers as I initially did.If you need a true team of professional top criminal lawyers hire Ian McKay/Heather Furg based out of Calgary. These lawyers know criminal defence to a tee and will get you the very best defence possible. I am serious in saying I had everything on the line due to one not so good evening involving a DUI.Ian McKay and his team saved my job, brand new home and possibly my family relations as I thought I was heading for destruction. After court everything turned out far better than I ever expected . I am and will continue to be forever grateful thanks to Ian and Heather. I highly recommend these lawyers. Kevin

Ian knows what he is doing and he was able expose my ex wife for the liar she is. He got everything dropped by clever if not brilliant tactics. Could be more communicative, but I would strongly recommend Ian if you are being rail roaded by the system

I am not sure what the first person was talking about but Ian is one of the best criminal lawyers in Alberta. I went to him for help on some serious charges after a number of people had recommended him. He was cocky when he walked into the courtroom and he destroyed the cops on the stand. He was very expensive but well worth it. It was obvious to me why he is one of the names on the street.

I've had Ian as a lawyer for the past few years working on a pretty big case out of Saskatchewan. I've never had to deal with a situation like this before and he's been more then patient with me and explaining all the legal mumbo jumbo. He does it so I know full heartedly know what is going on in my case. I've seen him in the court room and was overly surprised and the great detail and aggressive nature in the court room. he fights for his clients freedoms. And there's not much more you can ask for in a lawyer.

This was the worst lawyer Ive ever had to deal with. Never called except for money. I paid over $8000 and my last two court dates he sent his apprentice. Who I never met. Which his name is Ryan Patmore. Which I paid and hired Ian Mckay. Ian Mckay slip up and told me Ryan Patmore wrote my argument and filed late. Which cause adjournment a full mounth. Which im pretty sure I hired Ian Mckay to h as handle such task. Then on my last court case he still never showed. It was Ryan Patmore, who was late for court. I was told a price for hiring Ian Mckay for 8000 or Ryan Patmore for 3500. My choice was Ian Mckay and still had Ryan working my case. I would have bin better off hire a monkey. Do not waste your time or money on this firm. They are the real criminals. Im currently taking them to court for money. I hired Ian Mckay not his apprentice. How can a firm send a lawyer who was never hired to begin with. I strongly do not recommend this firm.
