Mr. De Lucia, acting as a deputy judge, presided over a Small Claims Court matter I was involved in. He cherry picked evidence; he fabricated witness testimony or ignored it entirely; he altered my pleadings in his order because he wanted a particular outcome. He had an agenda. He lacked impartiality. This man is unethical, unprofessional and unreasonable. And, he threw a very heavy folder containing all of my evidence across the bench hitting me in the wrist. He is a bully; he is uncivil. It should be noted that I began my case with a lawyer, but due to financial constraints I represented myself during trial. Had I have know that Judges and Lawyers lie shamelessly, I wouldn't have pursued a legal remedy. Ontario Small Claims Court is corrupt due to individuals like Mr. De Lucia.

Bill is the most knowledgable lawyer that I have worked with. He responds to your emails, you phone calls, We just did our sale of our house and purchase of another property all professionally handled and our report was ready on the next day after closing. Highly avoid , made my real state purchase severely more difficult and turned it into a very stressful tax and I think we get lawyers to rescue stress not to add more.Made our lives much mor edifficult , I know at least one other of his clients that refused to work with him after one transaction.

My experience with this law firm in a few legal matters that I needed a lawyer was quite positive, the staff is friendly and very respectful the lawyer is very professional, knowledgable in law, and answers all questions and calls in a manner that I understood and responds to emails very quickly. Unbelievably poor experience. They took all of the money they could take from me knowing full well that we were struggling financially. They did not follow my instructions and continued to bill for things that I told them I did not want. Disgusting.

This law firm charged a lot of money for very little work. Buyer beware. What you receive as a quote will explode into more costs very quickly. The value is extremely poor. I found better lawyers out there who are more cost effective and aware of a client's budget and ability to spend. You will spend more than they tell you it will cost. They will use up your money quickly. They seem to be desperate for business with not too many return clients. The accounting is not good either.

Unfortunately the price that I was quoted and the price I got was much highter and above the reasonable standard according to Going Rate by Canadian Lawyer web site.
