I had an ok experience. They were professional though at times, communication could have been clearer. They managed my case, but I felt some details could have been explained more thoroughly. Overall, the service was decent, but there’s definitely room for improvement and I paid a lot.

I wish I could give 0 stars. I hired Rosen Tax Law expecting professional, reliable service, but I couldn't have been more wrong. From the start, communication was terrible. I could never get ahold of them, and when I did, their responses were vague and unhelpful. My case was mishandled from day one. But they were always prompt to bill me. There were about 5 people working on my problem at once according to the bill almost all students after looking at their website. Scam.

At the top of my career and in the middle of my third degree, I was confronted by unexpected MRI results in addition to unresolved mental health issues related to grief and more. As a result, I let go of many life routines including not filing my taxes for 6-years. I was terrified when I realized that I was past the maximum period for filing. I live in BC and after having two appeals denied by CRA leaving me the last man standing in a business sale and CRA dispute(one partner died, the other declared bankruptcy), I contacted Mr Rosen on a whim. I called and told his the situation, he gave me a very reasonable quote to review. Once he reviewed my file, he was very upset with the way I had been treated by CRA and gave me Avery reasonable quote to continue. Mr Rosen and his team took the time to read, understand ask questions and developed a very accurate, comprehensive report to present to CRA. This was almost a year ago and we still have not heard from CRA, but they are not calling me either. Mr Rosen got them to back off until a decision was reached.Since the file was submitted, I have contacted Mr Rosen’s firm to ask for updates and answers. I offered to pay for this extra time, but he refused. I have only had telephone and email correspondence with Mr Rosen and two of his staff. All excellent, do not hesitate.

The BEST attorney I have ever had. I was with another law firm that just took my money, said they would help, but did literally nothing. I decided to call Rosen Kirshen Tax Law and it was the best decision I have made all year. I had some serious issues with the CRA involving tens of thousands of dollars owed but I spoke to him on the phone then came in for free consultation at their office and was put completely at ease. I have never had an attorney explain my situation to me in such plain english, something i could understand. I needed help right away and Jason was willing to make me a priority. Jason is so professional, respectful, and explains everything so clearly. He doesn't just know the law, he knows how to explain it to regular people like me. I am so happy I picked Rosen Kirshen Tax Law.

After my free consultation with Jason, it was only a matter of days before my husband and I knew working with him was in our best interest. At his last firm Jason promised me the moon. He guaranteed he could fix my problem. He never spoke to me again and had his assistant Ester do all the work. At a critical point he disappeared and I never heard from him again and then the CRA froze my bank account and my line of credit. I had to find out from another lawyer that nobody had touched my case in months and that Jason had abandoned me without even an email. The Bar Association will hear about this! He should be disbarred. And look at all the 5 star reviews he got - all in the week he opened up. I can smell a fake when I see it. That is why I need to put up a real one. The world should avoid a lawyer like him who drops his clients and never talks to them and only has his helper do all his work. Shame on you Jason. You'll know who I am when you get the complaint I file with the Bar Association.

I couldn't have asked or received better service. Mr. Rosen's successful and persistent challenging of the CRA's interpretation of the tax law re: 'business' vs. 'rental' income resulted in significant tax savings and most important, set the stage for future tax returns. It was with some trepidation that I contacted any tax attorney as I thought the fees would surpass any profits---this was certainly not the case with Barrett Tax Law who charge a lump sum for service. Mr. Rosen worked for every penny. He was professional, articulate and intelligent and I would not hesitate to contact him again.
