I suspect all of the previous raters are accurate. I found Millar's conduct so inconsistent with his required professional conduct standards when i was before him that I interviewed more than 50 people (mostly litigators) to ask who were the best and worst judges in AB. Dallas Millar ranked at the very bottom - not 1 even slightly favourable comment. Unfortunately several other aging white men weren't far behind him in the rankings, which was very concerning. The herd clearly needs to be culled.

This judge has a 'sexual perversion' weakness so his 'decision making' becomes compromised and he can be 'bribed, blackmailed and/or bought'. You'll KNOW when this happens, because he presents with decisions based on information gathered from only the prosecutions side and not from the defense; he does NOT weigh the witnesses testimony on all 9 factors (i.e. credibility, consistency, fairness, one-story, accuracy, truth, memory, integrity) and he sits in judgement of cases he has NO EXPERTISE nor documented experience with; he misdirects and misapplies the law (from hard to soft);by making mistaken assertions; acted outside his general area of jurisdiction; made mistakes by disregarding relevant considerations and IGNORING pre existing FACTS (i.e. who the children originally named as having 'hurting' them), paid regard to irrelevant considerations; acted in 'bad faith' and breached bias rules of natural justice, violated 'speedy trials' Charter right; all under 3rd party direction.

Worst judge imaginable. Does not act in the Best interest of the children. Doesnt seem to care what happens to the children and is willing to rule without taking into consideration the evidence before him. Does not listen to arguments and seems to have his mind made up for whatever reason prior to entering the court room. He should be struck off.

This is quite funny reading these comments. Here I thought I would be the only one. I am not sure if I agree with the term Badass b/c he doesn't seem to put in much effort that would establish him as a BADASS. I would state that he is not concerned with Federal Government Guidelines regarding child support. Okay! Gives you 25 minutes when you are allowed 60 min. Asks you for documentation on something that is not relevant to your case when you are the applicant. I would agree that he had his mind made up before you even step into the room. He should be taken off EICC immediately because it is not a fair prediction of your case. You are better to throw your concerns to the universe and allow Karma to work in your favour. The only possibility you will get a fair judgement compared to stepping in front of this judge.

Another bad Alberta judge. There is no justice when he sits. Often in a bad mood short with people and rushes through things, predisposed before he sits. Typical napoleon complex short guy. Does not know the laws he rules on and with.

Obviously biased. Does not rule on what's before him and makes up his mind before you see him. ignores evidence if he doesn't like you. Ignores you if he doesn't like you. Frightening injustices here and they are desperate for judges so dont do anything about him.

16/08/11- Court favored male Lawyer inspite of knowing he was manipulating the Truth; Evan the lawyer felt awkwardDidn't read Documents, wouldn't listen,wouldn't / couldn't back of decision; wouldn't respond; felt he had an aught against women. Disgraced his Chair, there's no assuming you'll get Justice here

A true Kangaroo Court Judge, Beware he is very biased towards women in divorce cases. A truly unjust judge.
