Overpriced, bad temper, late for everything (including my trial!!! Which pissed off the judge), and overall not worth it. Basically got tricked into picking him as my lawyer after our “free” consultation - after it was over he said “that will be $1500” - hmm okay.... He made a not guilty plea of my behalf without even telling me; so I was super confused when I received my trial date without even knowing that I apparently wanted it to go to trial??? Maybe all a money grab on his part. Just not worth it. Go with someone else... ANYONE else.

Not something I'm proud of, but I was charged with DUI in March of 2015. I most certainly should have been convicted, buy it was Ian's knowledge and thoroughness that helped to win my case. As the trial unfolded and Ian presented our case, the crown attorney dropped the charges, as they could see they were going to lose. Ian is a very competent, and capable lawyer, and I would recommend his services to anyone in need! Thank you Ian! DL

Anyone could have done a better job. Very rude and clearly does not care for his clients, only sees them as dollar signs. Could have defended myself just as good and saved thousands of dollars.

Ian Savage took a $5000 retainer from me to fight a driving disqualified charge. He dodged meeting with me and spoke with me rudely and disrespectfully for a total of 15 minutes on 3 occaisions. He "arranged" a plea bargain to get me a year or so house arrest and on the day of sentencing he was late and handed me off to a lawyer not even from his office to adjourn the court date!!!! It turns out Ian hadn't picked a good judge and the crown had not agreed to this plea bargain. I spoke to the crown and discovered Ian had a brief conversation about my case and that was all!!!! Yet Ian claimed to have a long negotiation about my case. The stranger lawyer put my court date off and Ian showed up in the middle as I found out he was at another trial at the same time. I fired Ian Savage and am taxing his bill to get my money back. As well I've complained to the law society about his conduct. Even that day he was again rude to me and my girlfriend. Please register complaints and stop this guy.

Ian Savage broke numerous Alberta Professional Code of Conduct Rules in taking $4,200 from me for the "opinion" that I had no chance unless the PC didn't show and that he could walk me through pleading guilty the next week. I instead defended myself and won. 'Nuff said?
