This lawyer is a feminist and will not properly represent men. She told me over and over how much my ex deserved to make the changes she was making and she had the rights. Never should've retained her because in the end, she did a piss poor job and when I raised concerns exercised her legal right to drop me as a client and left me hanging. There is a reason she charges less than other lawyers, she is terrible at her job and lures clients in with "Value" She ain't worth a penny.

I couldn't have got through my matter without Kara. She was easy to talk to, explained everything to me, guided me along the way, and really went to bat for me. I highly recommend her!

I don't often write reviews but I was compelled to do so for this lawyer as she was my voice when I could not speak for myself. The dissolution of a marriage is extremely emotional even for those of us that are capable, strong and professional women. KaraLynn Chapman worked toward resolution and settlement as effectively and efficiently as possible while maintaining civility in the often uncivil environment of family law. If you are looking for a skilled lawyer with the rare combination of emotional intelligence and street smarts, this is the lawyer for you. I would also like to note that the contact information on this site is incorrect. Ms. Chapman, who has a young family, has recently started her own law firm under the name of Chapman-McAlpine.

I wanted to take the time to write this review because it’s well deserved. Kara-Lynne Chapman treated me with the highest regard and respect at a time when I felt hopeless and scared for my future. She walked me through each step explaining to me everything I needed to know and made sure I understood everything, if I didn’t she would explain it to me again so I did. This woman and mother is very talented and a very good lawyer taking personal care and sincere interest in what she does, her patience and understanding proves her heart is in her work and she is very efficient, organized and detailed. Kara-Lynne is knowledgable and has obviously a great reputation, as her professionalism and respect for the justice system speaks volumes. She is a warm kind person, very informative detailed and great at what she does. She should be very proud of her reputation as it is awesome and she changed my life for the better when I never thought that could be possible.

During the most stressful of times...separation, divorce, custody, family court...I was so fortunate to have Kara Lynn Chapman as my lawyer. Kara is knowledgeable, professional, articulate, dedicated and driven. During the times I worked with her, she listened to, validated and addressed each of my concerns. She walked me through each process, filed, emailed and talked to me. She fought for what I believed in, while making sure that I understood her recommendations. She was quick, but thorough. She was professional, but gentle. And through it all, she had a wicked sense of humour that made each process more bearable. Family law is tricky and emotional and tensions run high...Kara is amazing through all of this. I have, and would still recommend Kara as a lawyer to anyone I know.

I have worked with Kara-Lynn Chapman on 2 occasions now for the same matter. From obtaining sole custody which went to trial to no revising the final order. My situation was a very complicated and hostile matter that dragged on for over a year and a half each time. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She is quick and efficient with orders, filing and serving. Her advice and recommendations are the best from any lawyer I have worked with. As for some reviews posted here, every professional has their personal life apart from their work lives. One can have other hobbies/ambitions outside of work and should not be professionally judged for them. Her professional knowledge and skill as a lawyer are nothing but professional and highly knowledgeable. I’d also recommend her YouTube channels because she’s an amazing makeup reviewer also, who I often rely on for the best products. I highly recommend her as a lawyer, she will fight hard for you and will advise you to the best solutions.

I have recently viewed her youtube posts where she gives her legal advice, "you got this" while putting on gobs of makeup and in another video going on in such a lack of personal insight. In my interaction with her, she was more concerned with gossiping, and I found her to be very judgmental instead of respectful. I think she should really consider taking down the videos because they are in such poor form, (Kara C on youtube) and I also think she would better spend her time not talking so negatively about others behind their backs.

She was very knowledgeable, reasonable and easy to work with. She gave me honest answers about my situation so that I was well prepared for what my options were and what the possibilities were in court. She worked hard on my case and I always felt like she was well organized and on top of things.I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a family lawyer.

I would definitely recommend Kara-Lynn Chapman. She was very informative, professional and caring. She stands strong and stands up for what she believes are valid areas of concern. She will gladly answer any of your questions, gives you time, respect and knowledge. From my personal experience other professionals hold her in high regard.

I would like to say that this lawyer was on for my ex. everything we recieved in the mail was out of order, pages were missing or she told my ex she sent something like an offer or brief and never sent it. She didnt file any of the paper work on time. I would never recommend her
