Finding a lawyer during such an emotional time is probably one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. I originally met with Aubrey Sherman and a well known larger firm. At first, I decided to choose the larger family law firm, as my divorce was pretty complex. After dealing with the larger firm who neglected my emails, phone calls and generally lacked communication; I decided it was time to make a switch. Aubrey and his staff were wonderful. They truly understood my pain and emotions and made the divorce process that much more easier. Aubrey went out of his way to help me as a client and I will always remember how much he advocated on my behalf during the entire process. Highly recommend!

Aubrey Sherman has been looking after my entire family's legal needs for the past 7 years. We have also been a client of Mr. Ken Sherman's for over 20 years. Aubrey has assisted us with a variety of matters from buying and selling a home, re-financing our mortgage, writing Wills, and looking after our business concerns. We are very pleased with his work or we would not be returning clients, nor would we recommend his services to all our family, children and friends who have also been very happy. It is a family run firm with personal service and attention to detail. We highly recommend this firm to those looking for skilled lawyers in a small firm setting. Approachable and responsive whenever we need them.

We found the review dated 11/30/14 to be very accurate. My son & I came to Mr Sherman for a consult after a failed attempt to reach a separation agreement with his spouse. She had decided to move a large distance away and take their daughter with her. He stated that he would get signatures on all the common ground in the failed agreement. However, most of the terms of the agreement had been rendered irrelevant by the decision to move. He asked whom else we had consulted with and told us that their advice was all wrong and that he spent most of his time cleaning up their messes. His advice was that my son abandon his career and move close to where his daughter would be living. Having retained someone else, my son was successful in getting his daughter back on an interim basis and has recently been awarded permanent residency of his daughter. This was achieved using the strategies that Mr Sherman viewed as totally irrelevant and ineffective. Very scary that he is practicing Family Law.

His knowledge is mediocre at best, and his method of communication with any party, may it be his client, an opposing party/solicitor, or his colleagues is to be rude, disrespectful, and downright condescending. I have personally witnessed him behave like a spoiled five year old who has been told "no" on more than one occasion. Speaks poorly about his office staff, other lawyers, and clients to others, with no self-awareness of his own faults. I would not recommend that anyone use Mr. (Aubrey) Sherman as their lawyer, as there are many other options in the tri-cities area, with legal help available from those who act in a professional and courteous manner to get the job done.
