I retained the Edmund's Law firm to represent me because of their extensive depth and history with U.S. Government clearance issues and they lived up to their sterling reputation in every way. The team from Edmunds, led by attorney Mark A. Myers, leaped into action immediately. They asked for very specific documentation to provide evidence to the comprehensive response they crafted for the SOR. Just as critical, they interviewed me extensively about the history of the issue, all the while explaining to me in great detail the reasons for the tactics & overall strategy of creating a successful response to the SOR. Whenever I had questions or concerns about our response, attorney Myers would take the time to clearly explain what and why (or why not) we were taking a given a specific direction in crafting the response. Just over 2 weeks after Edmund's Law submitted the final SOR response, I received notification of a successful adjudication of my clearance application from the DOD-CAF.

I was in a state of despair and depression when I saw my SOR claim that I was someone I was NOT (as they claimed that I was a risk for A,B,C,E, and K risks). These Attorneys and their paralegal Jennifer are beyond proficient in delivering you from any defamation, false attributes and/or USGOV cited issues and risk as a result of their SSBI investigation on you. They are simply excellent and communicative but you must be willing to cooperate and trust them; if that means giving them what they tell you to give then you better execute. Be, know, listen, do and you to will be cleared, especially your name. Hire these guys and gals ASAP.

I hired the Edmunds Law Firm to appeal a proposed security clearance revocation related to my foreign travel. My initial meeting was in person with Mr. Edmunds. From that meeting I felt completely confident that he knew the process inside and out and would be able to help me. When I was having some communication trouble with my assigned attorney, Mr. Edmunds got my case reassigned IMMEDIATELY and the new attorney and legal assistant finished my appeal packet within 48 hours of receiving it. They filed the appeal with my government agency on Dec 12, 2017 and I received notice on Jan 9, 2018 that my case had been favorable adjudicated. That's only 19 working days over a major holiday period!

I am so thankful to Ryan at the Edmunds firm. I had a former LE supervisor who submitted multiple false felony alleagations to my security staff which caused an immediate revocation. I received a Statement of Reasons (SOR) from the government and thought I could respond to myself which I did. What a mistake. The next thing I know the government has threatened to revoke my clearances and has scheduled me in front of a judge at a hearing to defend myself. The SOR was full of mistakes and misinformation. I contacted the Edmunds Law Firm and my case was given to Ryan Nerney. Ryan knew what documents I needed to submit, what documents needed notarized and made sure I was well prepared when I appeared at the Hearing. Ryan was there with me and did a fantastic job. I found the Edmunds law firm through an Internet search to help me with my security clearance, which had been denied after working for the government for more than 15 months. After speaking to them and my attorney Ryan Nerney, I felt confident that I would have a favorable outcome. Attorney Nerney, reviewed my case, wrote an aggressive appeal, spoke with me every step of the way, and made sure I was ready for my hearing in front of an Administrative Judge. I was grateful for the clarity and understanding he provided to me about the entire process. His representation resulted in my winning a case to have my security clearance reinstated after it had been suspended. He guided me in gathering evidence and character witnesses. Hay that reflected my character and my passion to support my country. His passion when he presented his closing argument was impressive, and I had the sense that we had really hit a home run. After our victory in the hearing, the opposition pressed on with an appeal, which Attorney Edmunds convinced them to withdraw before it even went to the appeals board. I really felt like he picked up my case, hit the ground running, guided me to gather everything I needed to win, and doggedly stuck with the case through to the very end. My hope is that I will never need to deal with such a legal situation again, but if I find myself in that situation, I will not hesitate to go back to Attorney Edmunds for representation again.

Ryan Nerney handled my Statement of Reasons (SOR) response smoothly and was very fast in responses to my questions. My issue was resolved and he made sure that all of my responses were well articulated. He corrected every edit I pointed out and anytime I thought of something to add, he gave clear advise and added as needed. He was well educated in my issue and even pointed out one of reasons was incorrectly placed on my situation and was not related to my case. My response was submitted and Ryan kept following up as the decision took longer than expected. The decision came back favorable! They were very helpful and professional on my case and with their response to the SOR that was completed in less than 10 days I got my clearance only two weeks after it was submitted!
