On the second day of a three day trial, this "judge" instructed his clerk to give me the forms I would need to file an appeal (I did not ask for those forms). It was obvious that he was setting me up to fail at trial, right from the first 20 minutes of the first day. There were no lawyers present so he had a good time yelling at me multiple times - I had conducted myself in a very calm and professional manner. Our son's future was in his incapable hands and he ruined that boy by ignoring how his father and step mother had been emotionally abusing him and physically neglecting him. Years later, a judge finally saw the result that abuse had done to our son and gave our son the choice to no longer have to spend time at his father's home. Years of counseling, and a lack of connection with his father have resulted in that child growing into a somewhat confident, but permanently damaged, person. Justice Savage should rot in hell for what he was largely responsible for.

Justice Savage is incredibly smart but clearly hates women. Was a tax lawyer for 20 years before becoming a judge in BC Supreme Court. He should not be allowed to preside over family cases - he is extremely biased and will do whatever he can to ensure the mother gets as little as possible - even if he sees clear and abundant evidence in front of him that it would not be in the child's best interest. No idea how people like him get that job. I hope my child grows up and sues him for knowingly forcing them to spend their childhood in an abusive situation. I have been in front of a lot of judges in BC Supreme Court and he takes the cake for corrupt judges.
