I can not recommend Miranda Moore. I hired her, gave her money and then found all the negative reviews on this lawyer rating service. If I had read the comments of the people who gave her all those negative ratings I would have decided to "stay away of her" as the 2/28/17 reviewer suggests. "You rank dead last" is what the 4/11/17 reviewer had written about Miranda Moore...I agree with that reviewer. I wish I knew of this website before I hired her, there are many lawyers with extremely high ratings listed on this website that will do a fabulous job. I felt Miranda Moore was very unprofessional and less knowledgeable compared to other lawyers I have dealt with in the past. I was disappointed with her work and lack of communication skills. I felt that a lot of her advice was bad advice. I am going to go with the highest rated lawyer at this website from now on. I wish you all the best of luck.

Very direct, fiercely loyal to her clients, and not afraid to raise every defense or legal point available to fight for clients, including me! She also tries to be fair in reducing fees or making payment arrangements or offering fixed fees.

I am a healthcare professional who retained Ms. Moore; I have never been more impressed with a lawyer's passion and determination to defend less fortunate. She went out of her way to communicate with me and comprehensively analyze my case. The quality of her work, given the tight deadline, was outstanding. Exceptionally smart with a high degree of critical thinking and ability to see beyond details. My family has worked with many high profile lawyers in the past and I have never been more amazed to see how Ms. Moore is going miles out of her way to ensure justice is being served. In my humble opinion, she deserves recognition in BC for the quality of her work and what she stands for which is fair access to justice, equality, human rights and much more. In the age that access to justice is obstructed by high retainers of legal professionals in suit and tie paying for their luxury offices and billing $400 for a phone call, Ms. Moore is truly a breath of fresh air. Congratulations to BC!

Not only did she skip town, but she disappeared to another province on me a month before a lengthy trial had been scheduled a year and some earlier! She left me totally high and dry and it's been well over a year and I still haven't been able to get my file from her! So unprofessional and unreliable. Talks a big talk and promises the world then runs and leaves you screwed and stranded. Caused a lot of grief for me and my family and I am struggling to undo the damage she has placed on my children with her nonsense and skipping out last minute. It seems this is her M.O. and just par for the course with her. I would surely file a complaint with the law society but she has left me in a position of over $80,000 in legal fees and so many battles that I just can't take on one more over her horrible service and lacking ethics. Stay away from this woman!

Miranda Moore has been a great help for me and my family great lawyer very happy with her services always willing to go the extra mile for you and she will do this all on her own with no or very little help. I recommend her to every one I meet. people need more lawyers like her.

Miranda remains my lawyer after 3 years and has fought harder for me than any other lawyer I have hired for any issue. She also stood up to a lot of racism in her work which in AB is rampant. It's obvious to see many people who made bad comments were unhappy, bitter and broke legal aid clients who hate on every lawyer they get and keep switching. I'll stick with Miranda, thank you!

Worst Lawyer ever she did not show up for a scheduled hearing with the excuse her car doesn't have current registration. How stupid is that? She just does some things to take your money and then she quits on you. She is very unprofessional and a shame for all Lawyers. I have seen around ten -most of them are bad just trying to drain your wallet or they lied to me that all my money wouldn't be recognized in a property deal with my Ex. I already have my invested money recognized by the other party. Anyway if you are a little smart and your case not very complicated take things to court yourself. Coming from Germany most of the canadian Lawyers are bad. They don't fight for their client rights they just partner up with the other Lawyer.

Amazed to see the same patterns . I paid as requested . Accessed all needed documents . And a few days before the trial was totally blind sided by withdrawal of representation. Leaving no time to recover . Invoices were payed and not acknowledged or missed . And even after standing corrected on the fees. Still dump trucked me .Potential reason in my eyes is not qualified for the job at hand . Felt it would be a blazing loss due to lack of preparation .Or partial biast and sympathy for for the opposition ( child's mother ) . Considering both are in the same boat with multiple children definitely not far fetched . Since that debacle retained another middle aged female lawyer and received 100% better results . Have had over 10 different lawyers in the Edmonton area whether family/civil/commercial litigation. And I'm sorry . You rank dead last . Totally unprofessional, received payment with little services provided and no closure . I'd take a student lawyer and have a better chance .

Had her look into my case and all she did was ask for money and keep adjoined the matter and finally when it was time for her to appear she sends me an email the morning before my court saying she cant represent me anymore SHE IS A MAJOR FRAUD PEOPLE STAY AWAY OF HER

That my experience with her was just absolutely hair raising at the end. Court order was suppose to be signed and filed and to MEP by May 102916. I emailed her on April 26 and she said she was in saskatchewan to meet other lawyer, have her sign order then I was to go up to justice chambers and scratch out her name put my name and have judge sign order. So said and done, I took order to MEP they said the order was not worded correctly(It was miss moore that typed the order). I let Miss moore know and after deliberation she decided not to continue with my case? I ended up getting the order done by myself by going to the Justice chambers and letting them know what happened. so wondering if all the money I paid was really the right amount, and her not attending court was just a ploy to make me pay more?

I would caution you that this woman has made a poor reputation for herself within the law community in general. She is notorious for not showing up for court. She attempts dirty tricks that most lawyers know but also know better than to rely on. Consider that if she is representing you your opponent's lawyer's back will likely be up and this will impact your ability to negotiate. You can do better.

Miranda is unprofessional and unreliable lawyer. She doesn't return any phone calls or emails. Become of her misleading, I missed my court, and the court granted an order which i was not happy with. She withdraw before my court date, so i had to represent myself. She has 60 clients, and she doesn't have time for You!
