She is extremely under skilled. Does not appear to have knowledge in most events. Fails to give valuable advice and fails to respond to communications especially email. You would want to AVOID having Judith Millard as your lawyer at all cost!

I saw Millard after speaking with another lawyer about an unfair separation agreement. The first lawyer advised me to litigate. Millard advised me not to, or, if I did, to use another, more aggressive lawyer. I appreciated the candor of her advice, but I was dismayed that she didn't have any working knowledge-nor had she prepared to advise on-the specific issue at the crux of my situation (whether a particular sum to be divided had been a gift or a loan). Her advice was based in hunches and vague memories, rather than legal principles and precedent. She asked my partner to read through the Ontario Family Law Act to see if he could find relevant sections and left him to interpret that information and us to come to our own conclusion without offering any legal opinion except to avoid litigating because of the risk of incurring legal fees. We only wanted the information necessary to decide whether or not to take action, but left as uncertain about the merits of our case as when we arrived
