Where do I start?! He got the court date wrong and didn't show up resulting in a huge judgement against me which caused tremendous stress and thousands of dollars to try to fix. He filed the wrong papers, and charged me for all of his mistakes. Careless, forgetful and arrogant.

My experience of Bruce was quite different than the others. He listened and understood my needs and concerns, stood up for me when I couldn't stand up for myself and made sure that I didn't get pushed around. He did help me save money by allowing me to do what I could for myself, under his direction, and was effective in getting me the time I needed to heal and be ready to move forward. Thanks Bruce.

Mr. Bothwell, was OC in my divorce and i have to say...dealing with that man's lack of response<he would refuse to sign orders or answer any emails from my counsel> was like a long painful death. Also he seemed to not encourage his client to participate in any advancement on our file . I also noticed he made some personal comments that seemed very unprofessional.

Mr. Bothwell is unorganized anddoes less than minimal case work. He lets the client gather all information and then charges client for their own work. Our case had one obvious out and because the judge so obviously disliked the situation, she actually had to spend about 5 minutes doing all but telling Bothwell what he needed to bring up to legally substantiate the case, and this was a simple "No change of circumstance" that is one of the obvious parts of the Act that even a no legally trained person should have been able to identify. He takes long weekends regularity and clients' needs are ignored, even if the opponent has suddenly evoked a bogus emergency protection order that must be seen at the court within 3 days. We won our case, but not because of the lawyer, but because of the great amounts of work put forth by myself...I did the thinking and Bothwell did the money collecting.
