He dragged out my case so I ended up spending way more $ than I should have. Specifics in my separation agreement were not included so now I can't receive certain special expenses. I assumed and trusted that my lawyer would have included such important information. Lastly, $ that was owed to me in my divorce was not followed up by Phil Cote, so the whole process was pointless.

Phil: no response to emails, didn't meet prior to hearing, was late for hearing, used inexperienced Junior lawyers with incorrect application, did not apply for contempt of orders when there was proof of failure to pay support, did not request copies of paid support cheques, did not request that the court examine dates support was paid in untimely fashion

Phil is the worst lawyer I have ever met. he lied to me and dragged my case, made many spelling mistakes. never answered e-mails.

My file is worst now then when I hired Cote. Ssq Lack of actions. I feel like i was manipulated by him so he could drag my case and had his "students" working in my file and charging for his student's studies. He could not finish one simple court application.

Mr. Cote has filed several court documents incorrectly. His letters are inflammatory and filled with inconsistencies. And he always tries to force his cases into long court hearings. It is obvious that he is more concerned about money that about true law, or adequately representing his clients.
