He was the guardian ad litem for my grandchildren. I paid him for a visit to talk to him about the best interest for them. He not only was rude, and broke confidentiality but told both sides (my son and daughter in law)that I came in in office and was making trouble and said I was not fit as a grandmother to take care of my grandchildren. I called him about it, he got nasty and told me he could do what he wanted and hung up on me. I just wanted a chance to be able to see them but was kept away by my son and daughter in law. Ed Hawkins, in my opinion, is by far the nastiest person I ever came in contact with. I personally do no think he is qualified to be a guardian ad litem because he did not want to hear from me, broke the children's confidence when the children tried to talk to him about how they felt. He reported back to the dad what the kids said, causing grief between the dad and kids.I hope one day he be barred from practicing as a guardian ad litem.He seems like a bitter person.
