I have used Mr Stellar twice. The first time went well. The second time went totally different; he was very rude the whole time . At first he said something , then totally said something else weeks later. He kept stretching time to ask for for money. Come to find out at the end that Driver control said had he pleaded for me earlier , I would of been eligible for reduced sentencing. Now it’s too late. Overall he is very expensive for nothing and dishonest,

Not an honest lawyer, pretends to care but all that concerns him is to get you charged so that he can charges more. Never again

Mr. Seller is the most dishonest lawyer I have ever worked with. He stretches out things, and be more than happy to have you charged so that he can flush your bank as much as possible. May appear to be very helpful but in reality once you question what he does, he turns to an aggressive stance and becomes more money hungry! I highly don't recommend him nor his firm in any scenario.

Mr. Stellar was referred to us. We were not disappointed. He was thorough and kept us informed through the entire process. We would highly recommend him. The final outcome was what we were hoping for.

We feel so fortunate to have had Mr Sellar on our case, to guide us wisely and calmly through 32 months of surprize hell in the criminal justice system. Strategic, experienced and well prepared in court, he earned every dollar of his fees. His performance and professionalism ensured justice prevailed within a very flawed system.

Mr. Sellar took our cause on, and professionally and promptly made it clear where we stood, both on fees and chances of success. He was precise and to the point, with all explanations, and nuances of the law which could have an effect. He was kind and respectful with us as clients, the prosecutor and witnesses. His arguments were solid and his maneuvering in the courtroom was nothing short of masterful. Once complete, I thanked him and expressed my appreciation, while I never want to require his services again, I am happy to have met him. In Rod we trust.

Mr. Sellar successfully defended a family member. He was very professional and courteous. We was able to take in an enormous amount of detail concerning the case and distill it down to a concise presentation of the facts. He was superb in court and expertly challenged the prosecutor and the witnesses on their claims. I would highly recommend Mr. Sellar.

i never needed a lawyer before or knew how this court stuff works. We had a year to prepare, he took 11000 from me to not talk to me untill day before court day and had no interaction with me before. He promised me we would win,he lost and i had fines to pay. So he worked 1 day in court, half day to prepare for us for court. He cost way to much for what he really did.

this attorney is not very well organized does not speak in a language level that can be understood for an average person we are not lawyers and dont always understand the terminology. Does not hold his word when it comes to reimbursement . Made spelling mistakes in correspondence. Does not remember what he said when he meets his clients the story changed as we got closer to court date.he did not meet client to prepare before trial he showed up at court 10 mins late plus his assistant did not know which court room we have to be. we were not impressed at all and would never recommand him. we were told that we would be reimbursed 25% of the trust amount if he did not win. he only explained how this works in a letter after the court. Maybe sending us the letter or meet us to clarify this would have helped understand. it cost way to much money for what we got we feel we were taken advantage we had no chance to win he made us believe there were possibly

this guy used to be one of the best, but the firm is getting old without transferring knowledge to the next generation of lawyers. This guy took on my case (domestics- harassment, typical in today's world of divorce at 50% jails 55% full of domestics). But, then handed my case to a new young inexperienced lawyer. That new lawyer almost didn't get me bail. No plea bargain skills at all, its all about the plea now a days, very very few go to trial. So experience and who you know counts in ottawa law. crown is hungry for convictions for stats means more money... get a good plea bargain lawyer is key! I heard rodney used to be good, but when we reviewed my case he was very general as though he wasn't up on the new laws put in place for domestic cases. Domestic cases are treated very very harshly in ottawa due to the handful of harsh murders. As though the cops and justice can stop them all, right. Anyhow, get a good plea bargain laywer that will fight for you not for themselves
