I retained Mr. Mah in mid-May 2017 to initiate divorce proceedings against my husband. I met with him only once. He did absolutely nothing on my behalf to pursue the case yet charged me more than $3000 before I terminated our professional relationship due to his lack of diligence, due to his intransigence. In mid June, after Mr. Mah had done zero for me, I ended up going to Provincial Court on my own behalf to try to get a restraining order against my husband. The judge advised me to seek legal advice, noting that Mr. Mah was my lawyer. I am sure she was wondering, as I was, "Where the heck is Mr. Mah when his client obviously needs help?" I think he takes on too many clients, trying to make money. Who knows, tbough? I have filed a complaint with the Law Society of BC about Mr. Mah -- incompetent and over his head, in my view. Beware!

Sherwin is very helpful in settling my divorce and assets division issues. He has been successfully assisted me to request the highest settlement amount. He has exceeded my expectation in quality and service. I trusted him fully from the beginning to the end. He did not let me down. For my case, I did not end up going to court and settle before the trial. He deserved his lawyer fee for the time that he spent on my case. If i were to end up in court, the lawyer fee would be even higher. Sherwin is able to give enough pressure to the opposing counsel to settle my issues before court. I ended up having high settlement value with the assets division and not ending up paying high court fees. Overall, I would recommend Sherwin to my friends and you.
