Ms Cordano is incredible. Intelligent, devoted and zeros in on issues like a shark. I was unable to have her represent me because I was too far in my divorce and issues had already been certified for court but I wish terribly I would have known about her before filing my divorce. She is definitely the one I would have chosen and will choose if I need to refile for anything in the future. Thank you so much Ms Cordano for being so upfront and honest with me. I felt in my heart like you actually truly cared about my situation and I am forever grateful for your kindness. I will be in touch if I need representation in the future!!!

If you are looking for a divorce lawyer to represent you, look no further because you have found her. She is very detailed in her approach. Very calming and knows exactly what you are going through. Even across state lines as myself being in Colorado, so the communication had to happen via email or phone. She is a straight shooter and will tell you the reality of it all versus tell you want you want to hear. I would highly recommend her to represent you if you are going through any type of divorce.

Emy Cordano was an amazing lawyer! I am a father in Utah and was able to get full custody of my children! Her staff was very professional and extremely helpful and I had a lot of questions throughout my divorce. I would strongly recommend hiring or consulting with Emy during your family law case. Her experience shows in her ability to provide clear answers during what is usually a very difficult time in life. She has been established in the local area for some time and knows how to navigate the system to get desired results. In addition to frequent email communications, she was flexible with my work schedule and we met face to face multiple times after normal work hours to ensure that we were both on the same page and that we had all the necessary data to present a strong case. That was a big deal to me and Emy will do that for her clients. On top of all that, she is a friendly person that is understanding of the difficult circumstances of a divorce and puts all her efforts into helping you get results. Ms. Cordano and staff has been my rock in this storm of divorce I am navigating. Ms. Cordano your calming, steady presence continues to keep my heart in my chest.
Recently, my/our character was viciously attacked in court. There is one intangible characteristic I take very personally and that is character. Character tells our story without words. She met with me, led me to believe I had a case against my ex and his attorney for fraud, took over $2000 for a retainer and then charged me for most of it as she told me there was nothing that could be done. As far as I am concerned, she didn't care whether I had a case or not. She just caused me a lot more emotional and financial pain than I had already been put through. I would not recommend her to anyone!

Best of 4 attorney's over the past 5 years; beats Olsen's, Woodall, McIntyre and thankfully didn't retain Jolly. Emy is a solid professional from initial meeting to finish. Her retainer is industry average for anyone good and her agreement is thorough; helped when emotions clouded my perspective to see my sons. Emy listened, crystalized the key points, then let me know my chances; no other attorney ever gave the odds. After I agreed, she developed a plan, with estimated budget, and most efficient path to my goal. Her filings efficiently preserved the record, yet avoided drawn out costly responses when provoked by the opposing counsel to escalate costs & break me financially. Highly recommend you meet Emy before choosing a divorce attorney. Did research & she's a pro; not part of a big firm with high fees. The retainer was fair & competitive with others in her league. Competent, experienced and thorough; Emy dug into financial declarations and researched the details. Emy filed concise motions & counter motions despite the opposition writing volumes; must have cost my ex a fortune. Heed her agreement...it will save you $. I got more time with my 8 year old son and she protected my 401k and military retirement. Excellent experience and highly recommend.

Me and my wife recently decided that Emy Cordano would represent us to file a protective order on my Wife's Ex-Husband. At first it seems like she gives you the impression that she will do all that she can for you and will be aggressive and thorough with the case, but as time went on we started to see her talk about cost a lot and told us that one option was more expensive than the other and so on. We didn't like hearing her talk about money and how much she was going to charge us. Then the day before our court hearing she says that she will not show because she wanted her payment. After she told us to take the protective order to the court house and complete the process she charged us around $2000, which was outrageous considering she made us do all the leg work. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

At first she came off aggressive and strong which is great but in this case, not so much. She seemed like she cared at first but then it was all about money with her. She caused more stress on top of what we were dealing with and it was not great. Her paralegal was suppose to fill out paperwork for us but kept reminding us that she has never done it before and we ended up having to refile and submit everything on our own at the courthouse which took up half of our day. She charged us almost the full amount, leaving us with just a few dollars. HORRIABLE! Because she really didn't do much work and at the end of it all, she didn't want to meet up to discuss the bill. She has never been married or has children and I gave it a shot thinking she would understand but that was not the case for us. A clerk at the court house asked us who our attorney was and we said her and that clerk strongly advised to get a new attorney. I hope this helps someone.
