Avoid avoid avoid. Simple requirements went unattended to for years; no accountability taken other than to tell me they are going to close my file, then dumped 3 years of records into a mess of files for my new lawyer to sort through. Totally unprofessional. Can’t believe I wasted 3 years and a small fortune with this law firm with no resolutions

Mr. Virgin of Stevens Virgin failed to uphold a tenet of professional conduct by failing to disclose to me in his CFA (contingency agreement/contract) that he does work in the millions for ICBC, the same company I hired him to fight against. Mr. Virgin is obligated by law to disclose this information and as a result of non-disclosure, is now being investigated by the law society of BC. If you want a lawyer to fight for compensation of legitimate life altering injuries, do not hire lawyers that work in SAA's-Strategic Alliance Agreements with ICBC. You can find out whether a lawyer you are considering for representation does such work by going to ICBC Annual Reports, scroll down to; Statements and Schedules of Financial Information, pick a year, and scroll to roughly pg.65 where the alphabetical order lists of companies, including law firms, that have worked for ICBC are. I have no problem with lawyers working for ICBC, but they are obligated by law to tell you this.

If you want a lawyer to go to battle for you against ICBC, to advocate for your injuries against ICBC with commitment, STEER CLEAR of this lawyer and law firm. This lawyer consciously neglected to tell me that he has a "Strategic Alliance Agreement" with ICBC. That means he is working for ICBC under the guise of his private practice. ICBC asks him to get you to accept a low ball offer and they compensate him by giving him private council contracts. They prey on clients that are in debt and are nervous about the trial process. They build your case up for years then months before trial systematically devalue it. Go to the ICBC website and search "Annual Reports" then "Statements & Schedules of Financial Information", scroll down to "Amounts Paid to Suppliers for Goods & Services" You will see the Millions of dollars of work Mark Virgin and Stevens Virgin does for ICBC. That is a conflict of interest, and it is NOT IN YOUR INTEREST. STEER CLEAR OF THIS LAW FIRM FOR PROPER REPRESENTATION!!
