I worked with Chris on two occasions, first during the separation process and secondly years later when the agreement had to be amended. Chris and his assistant Shari are top notch……I was seperating from a Common Law partner….we were joint tennants on our family home…Chris and Shari assisted me in negotiating a Seperation Agreement which in the end allowed me to stay in the family home…they listened to my concerns, are very knowledgable and professional and kept me in the loop as to what was happening every step of the way….I absolutely recommend this team!

I obtained Chris after working through a separation agreement using a mediator. This process wasn't moving along and our separation was at a standstill. With Chris' knowledge of the process he was able to bring my ex back to the table to continue discussions. Within one year Chris was able to negotiate a fair settlement for both parties and bring our separation to closure. They say that you get what you pay for and Chris was definitely worth it. I'd recommend Chris to anyone, especially if you are going through a difficult divorce.

I had a very contentious divorce and when I went to see Chris I was terrified at the thought of losing my two kids, from the moment I met him he put all of my fears at ease and handled my case with an unwilling ex with grace and tenacity and ended up getting a positive result for me. We had to do an emergency motion and he also came out victorious for me as well.His rates are very reasonable for the vast knowledge he possesses. He is kind and caring and takes your concerns to heart and is in no way dismissive to your situation. He managed to get me my kids far more than my ex was willing to give me and that to me is priceless. I would recommend him to anyone who finds themselves in this unfortunate situation, there is no need to be afraid when you have him as your attorney. There is not enough space for me to say all of the things he did for me and how much i will always be in debt to him. I was recommended to Chris after my spouses lawyer became aggressive and a bully to my first lawyer. Chris is truly professional, totally knowledgeable, very understanding and definitely caring. This whole process was over two years to finally get a separation agreement in place. My spouses lawyer was the brick wall and to be quite honest, if it wasn't for Chris, her lawyer's wall would have met the same fate as the wall around Berlin! He kept me well informed and remaining positive during all of this! The case should have been simple and Chris knew I would have given it all to my spouse to just finish it! I have had Mr. Martin on two separate family files over the years. Both cases were done very professional, and I could not ask for any better representation. Mr. Martin and his expertise in the family law field is the best you can ever find. Mr, Martin in my first file won me full custody of my daughter at the age of 10 years old, and my second file was an exact carbon copy of that with a full trial, which we won! I strongly recommend no other lawyer in this area but Mr, Martin. In both of my cases I was right away put at ease, and felt very comfortable with the way he talks to you, and understands the emotional ties you would have to a family case. I find his legal secretary Shari the best at what she does. You will feel much better with the kind of representation, and knowledge you will get from this team! This guy spends an inordinate amount of time, wasting everyone's time and money, so he can bill for as many hours as possible. HIS best client is someone who is hands off and doesn't ask him questions. He's been doing this for 25 years and he has no ratings - I think that's strange. The stuff he went back and edited came back with no substantive value added and contained multiple errors.
