Ms. Tyhurst was without question the worst lawyer I have ever retained. All she cared about was running her bill up as high as possible, starting with a whopping retainer. Many meetings where she was disorganized, rereading the documents over several times, asking me to write lengthy versions of my testimony. In retrospect, I'd like to report her to the Law Society, but they cannot police incompetence.

She kept mixing me up with another client, when I was talking to her on the phone. Spent so much money and still got know where. What a waste of money and now finding it hard to pay for another lawyer after they took me for all I have.

Catherine was recommended to me by a friend who had used her. I have not been disappointed. She has vast knowledge, is clear in her communication, is like a dog with a bone and let's nothing slip by her and is comparison to other lawyers, is reasonably priced.

this one could not sell a eraser to a grade one student. Likes to rate herself highly but I am here to tell you that she falls well below the level of competent. She was ask many many times "who are you working for" Never did get a responds, I'll assume she is working for the province to get convictions for her friends in the crowns office. She got me convicted on what should of been a case thrown out in criminal. corrupt would be an understatement.

Catherine is one of the most caring and compassionate people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She helped me through a very complex family court matter and the end result was exactly what we fought for. She communicated extremely well with me and was almost always available, if she wasn't available that moment she would respond very soon after. I couldn't have been happier with my legal representation. She is absolutely wonderful.

Fills your head with confident garbage... Making empty promises. Took all my money, then sent me to legal aid after blowing through thousands of dollars. Fully knowing that I don't qualify for legal aid... Thanks for the false hope lady. She made every effort to do things the longest, most hostile way possible by insisting on letters be written in every case. (full of typos I might add) Just left me with the feeling that my legal representative had no credibility whatsoever. My ex just refused to participate with the gong-show of that which was my legal defense. Continually short with me, hanging up the phone whenever I called to talk and ask for updates on my file. Guess she wanted more money and never had the guts to tell me she drained my account and never really produced any results for the work she did.
