We love Laurie. Laurie was ther when we needed her. She stepped up to the plate and got the job done. I would recommend her to anyone I know.

My daughter was going through a divorce. We read all of the reviews and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why we decided to go with Laurie anyway. Her performance was lackluster, at best; I could not believe it. Her court room presence is buffoonish. Between forgetting very important facts when they are needed and failing to execute at the right moment, she did more harm than good. As well, by the time we were half way through the process, it was clear that she had no real interest in the case and was in no way committed to winning; she was “doing time” and nothing more.
One other thing; I am in no way criticizing her for being hearing impaired but the reality is that it greatly affects her performance in the negative in this field of work. That said, hearing impairment is the least of her problems. Avoid this lawyer.

She is a very smart person but Is so disorganized, a procrastinator, a liar, she will bill for anything and everything like if you don't call back any of your clients don't bill them. She sucks you in due to her smartness and once she has your retainer you won't hear from her again for months on end. I swear she gets her assistant to lie for her because she is always at Court apparently. I have heard message s on my phone with other peoples personnel information. she needs to give her head a shake before someone s life gets worse due to her negligence.

I FOUND TO BE VERY OPEN. SHE EXPLAINED WHAT I COULD EXPECT, EXPLAINED THE PROCESS AND GAVE ME OPTIONS OF HOW WE COULD GO AHEAD.

Laurie's work ethics, all around, are horrific. She is lazy, unorganized, untruthful, and very cunning. During the 2 years I had obtained her as counsel, there was very little accomplished, if anything. During my meetings or phone discussions with her, right in the middle of a conversation, she would often say she lost her 'train of thought'. In my opinion, a lawyer that often loses their train of thought, should not be in the business of Law. The situation of having Ms. Laurie Cunningham act as Counsel on my behalf during my divorce proceedings, became hopeless, and we wound up parting ways.
