Useless, all for himself. Good negotiator for his own benefit. Full his own pocket, don't care about his clients. After winning, Employer will breach agreement so you go back to him, have to pay him again. In the end you're left with nothing. He got $20,000.00 for my case, took $8,000.00 for his fees, company report settlement to EI. When I told him he ask why I didn't call him!! I had to pay SST $7,500.00. What I got for pain and suffering? $3,500.00? I had to pay travelling expenses. James Jagtoo is a bully. Do not hire this Lawyer

Mr. James Jagtoo, don't advice is client in the right direction, he just go after people for money he run up costs of this legal fee, when you retain him he give you his daughter fee is 350 hour, son 325 hour and his wife secretary 480 hour, Mr. Jagtoo tell you the cost of the case would $25,000-50,000, at the end of the case he give you a bill for $150, 000. the end of the case he won only 20,000 was awarded, Mr. James rip off poor people and then he will sue you for the money his fee is ridiculous, he think people pick up money he is so unreasonable, I would advice people not to retain him. I will rated Mr. James 1.

I'm not sure what those other two ratings are about, but they look suspicious to me. Sounds like the same person and they don't even know what's legal and what's not. I had a tough employment case that required a lot of negotiating and James did a great job for me. I have recommended him and his firm to colleagues and they received similar results.

He was my lawyer,sued my employer and full his pocket. He made agreement for me not to report info to anyone but Employer reported settlement as package to EI. I lost everything. When I contact James, he said this will be a new case and he wanted more money. Why can't he fix what went wrong. I lost my job and he trying to bleed me out financially. Please o not hire this lawyer.

This lawyer runs up his client cost promise and advice his clients wrong. He try to take matters that is not in the law. He then sue his own client or his clients sue him. Check his failure on canlii.org. Do not use this lawyer.
