I recommended Orna Hillberger to a friend who was going to embark on a nasty divorce with custody issues as well. She wanted to rate Orna but asked if I could do it on her behalf to remain anonymous. This is what she said. Mrs Hilberger was amazing and held my hand through this atrocious process. She gave me hope and encouragement every step of the way and explained the process and the next steps and coached me. I had used a previous lawyer but it was not working out as they never engaged with me and it was like they were running the show without my input. That all changed once I switched to Mrs Hillberger. I felt more in control of my destiny. And was delighted with the outcome and her professionalism every step of the way. My life is back on track now for me and my kids and I couldn’t thank Mrs Hillberger enough.

Terrible person and awful lawyer. Will drag out cases for months to add hours. Used the same phrase “” quantify quantify quantify”. That’s all she knows. Doesn’t care about kids in divorce. Instigates both sides to become volatile instead of being decent human being during rough times. She makes numerous legal mistakes and when she’s loses blames the other person and their lawyer for being sneaky. Lol. Run run run.

Don't listen to the negative reviews. Mrs. Hilberger is one of the best lawyers I've dealt with and I have nothing but good things to say. I am very happy with the outcome and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a divorce lawyer.

What can I say about Me Hilberger? She handled my divorce quickly and efficiently. She negotiated my settlement and I walked out of court dancing. No wasted time in court arguing over stupidities. I followed her advice and was not disappointed. I highly recommend her.

Madam Hilberger made sure I was well taken care of and felt comfortable given my circumstances. She was available every time I tried to contact her and broke down everything into laymans terms so I was never confused or had to do much questioning. I would recommend her to anyone else who's unfortunate enough to be going through a divorce.

A terrible lawyer and a worse human being. As someone else commented earlier, she does indeed make deals with other lawyers without telling you and totally ignores everything you ask of her. When you try to walk away because you're fed up she'll give you a story about how no one else will help you and that you'll be paying thousands with someone else just to catch up with your file. She doesn't know the law, is totally clueless on custody and access rights, after apparently over 30 practicing she still has no idea how to fill out legal forms, and she will not only make tons of mistakes, but then she'll either charge you to correct them or tell you to just cut your losses and overpay. She's as terrible aa person as she is incompetent. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON HER!! YOU'RE BETTER OFF WRITING YOUR JOB AND GETTING LEGAL AID!!

Don't grow your money away on this lawyer. She makes deals with the other lawyers, without her client's knowledge or agreement and then she tells you "there is nothing else that can be done. Overcharged me thousands of $$$ to correct a mistake she made. Funny how the only five star review comes from Westmount which is the same location as her office!

Me Hilberger is a brilliant attorney. I had an extremely complex divorce case. I had terrible representation with Me Ian Sollaway and Me Carly Flam. They just don't get it. Me Hilberger took over and never wavered though we were being served with dozens of unfounded Motions, threats and constant intimation by the ex and his lawyer. Me Hilberger carried out a 3 day trial with expertise and class. The end result was a victorious 34 page judgement. She exposed all the relevant data in clear and methodical fashion for the judge to understand perfectly and rule fairly in my favour. I have since proudly recommended her and she had never let down. OUTSTANDING LAWYER. OUTSTANDING HUMAN BEING.
