Geistweidt failed me and disrespected me.
I contacted Geistweidt at the recommendation of a relative and she agreed to represent me in a collaborative divorce. No mention was made of a 'conflict check'. 2 days later Amy contacts me by text message and states there is a conflict, her firm cannot represent me. She refused to specify the conflict; she refused to offer any explanation at all. This all by text, she didn't offer the respect of a voice call. She has rejected any further contact, ignoring my texts and calls. I discover later that the conflict was a previous consultation with my wife, only a few days before mine. Our name is uncommon, easy to remember, anyone with normal memory skill would have been aware of the conflict the moment I introduced myself.
Geistweidt treated me disrespectfully, I strongly discommend her.

Amy is a top-tier attorney (I know because I am an executive who works with corporate attorneys every day). She is an expert in family law. She took on a very difficult case6 that had languished and persisted for 4 years despite other efforts, and on her first attempt won the case, with the judge ruling in our favor, got an injunction against the defendant, and full recovery of attorney's fees for our side. She is a brilliant and humble individual, and serves as a wonderful example of her profession. I will hire her again if I need her.

Amy is well rounded in family law and know the judges and the way they think very well. Knowing how the judge rules before they rule is an asset to the client and makes the client feel comfortable and at ease. Once the ruling is determined it is usually a winning decision. Winning is her DNA.

Amy Geistweidt helped me in my divorce and child custody case. She proved to be a very powerful attorney. She is well knowledged, well versed, and gives you every ounce of fight she has. I have been thoroughly impressed by her ability and passion. Being a family woman herself, she understands just how important the fight is to you, and will do everything she can to get you where you want to be. I would reccoemnd her to anyone looking for a powerful and competent attorney.

Amy won a very difficult and complicated custody case for me. She genuinely cared about my children's well being. She's smart and aggressive. I'm very proud to have her as my council.

If you want to waste your money then hire this attorney. She overcharges, paperwork had mistakes often which I had to proofread and correct. Is a lamb in court, not a bulldog! Waste if money and time. Doesn't fight when you need it. Lost a lot in court even with lots if evidence. Couldn't reach her when I needed. Totally disappointed with chosing her.
