Patricia has helped me navigate the most stressful ordeal that I had to go through in my life. She was professional, knowledgeable and always available to give sound legal advise. Although Patricia seemed to be very knowledgable on family law matters, she certainly wasn't very educated in the area of the hardships of divorcing an abusive spouse. If you are in an abusive situation I highly recommend that you do NOT use Patricia as your lawyer. Her one line to me, that she used quite often was "You are the one who chose him" At the time I hired Patricia as my lawyer I was still suffering the affects of my ex spouses abuse and felt that maybe she was right. After years of healing, I have now learned that her comments were uneducated and down right insensitive. If she knew anything about abuse, she would have known that NO ONE chooses to be in an abusive situation. Abusers are often very crafty and manipulative, slowly breaking down their victims. A family lawyer should educate themselves in this very sensitive area. Divorce is not all about money and division. There is so much more to it. I will NEVER RECOMMEND Patricia Swerhone to ANYONE. DCAS took my daughter at birth filed false claims. Patricia challanged used her vast knowledge of the system and ripped apart dcas's entire case and my daughter is with me. Patricia treats you like more than just a customer she treats you like family.

Patricia has low knowledge of the legal system. She fabricates information/lies and will blame you. The only thing she does well is drive up her bill. Would not recommend at all

Patricia seemed knowledgeable but was unable to execute anything at all. She was confused and made many derogatory remarks. I would not recommend this woman to anyone. She led me to believe that she'd help my situation and months later after much money spent....told me there was nothing she could do. Waste of money and time

PATRICIA, WAS A GOD SEND TO ME I COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER PERSON TO HANDLE MY VERY COMPLICATED TIME CONSUMING AND OFTEN FRUSTRATING CASE. PATRICIA WAS HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE . WE WON OUR CASE AFTER ALMOST TWO LONG YEARS OF COURT APPEARANCES , CHILDREN'S AID MEETINGS AND FINALLY I RECEIVED MY VICTORY . Patricia is absolutely astounding. I have struggled with my matters for over 3 years, and dealt with another well rated lawyer prior to having her representing me, and, of course with a few that were a very bad choice prior to that. She was almost a blessing aside from being extremely professional, knowledgeable and acting, acting fast. My experience with lawyers until I met her was lower than mediocre. Patricia is well, well above that, she is stellar and very accurate, very responsive and in touch with her client, as a true lawyer should be. Rare to find, and very well worth to have her services. I will always be humbly thankful for having her as my counsel, and would refer her to anyone in need.

Lack of communication and condescending tone. Way too long to get things settled, she will blame it on you but in fact that is not true. Has asked for duplicates of documents because I guess she has forgotten that she already has them. Paid lots of money and nothing settled...unprofessional office as law clerk will tell you personal stories about the lawyers in the office. Definitely would not recommend this lawyer or this firm.
