He is a terrible lawyer and not worth the amount he charges. He prays on people that have just lost someone and then charges them out the ass for doing NOTHING... even after you have told him to stop doing things on your file he continues.

RUN.... this lawyer is corrupt and cares more about collecting his than caring for his clients. He and his associate work well together to make you trust in their ability and then they go into court unprepared and inexperienced and get totally flustered. They made us feel like we were losing our minds and our already painful situation turned into a nightmare that won't go away. They would charge for hours of planning and consultation and then show up to court with a totally different story/approach and their advice of our legal rights was totally incorrect from the get go. He strung us along to bill us more and we lost tens of thousands of dollars. DO NOT HIRE THIS LAW FIRM!

Do not hire him he is useless and corrupt. Google legal mafia and it comes up Ontario lawyers. He billed us over $4,000 to simply mail 12 letters of direction that were already prepared for him by previous lawyer. Something my kids could do for $5 then wasted over a year to quite and force our family to start over again. I have several Windsor lawyers busted on fraud regarding family estate and am being forced to keep hiring lawyers to access my families accounts as an executor. He obstructed me from accounts and wasted a year of our time. He has no business being a lawyer as he is bought out by his fellow lawyers and protecting the corruption over his client. Do not waste money on him!!

Mr Mayes did not even review my documents before court. he fumbled through the dates and places of events. My ex had me feeling like I had been run over by a bus. Instead of protecting my son, he let the court win and it cost me several thousand dollars for my ex to see my son, something he really didn't care for, just his mother did. I do not recommend My Mayes at all, he just wants your money. Stay away!
