I lost my husband due to the negligence of our family doctor. During my grief, I had a meeting with Ms Walker last month. She reviewed all of the medical records and told me she could only assist if I provided her with $7,500. When I asked her if that guaranteed we will win the case she said no. When I told her I didn’t have $7,500 she said I can file a complaint which doesn’t get me any money. When I asked who will take my case she simply referred me to the law society. All in all a disappointing experience.

I will never forget her touching my arm, looking me in the eyes and saying "you will be OK. Take a deep breath." That was at a mediation with a very rude defense lawyer who had me crying. Months later my case was settled before the judge because of Ms Walker's abilities. Thank you from Alison C.
