She tells you whatever you want to hear and acts like she is your best friend. She fights with the other side just to fight and unneccesarily makes the situation much worse by her very nasty attitude. Turns out that when we finally got to trial that all of these legal arguments that she was saying were great were total losers. So the case settled and we got what we could have gotten 2 years before mediation. It was a huge waste of money. She is a menace in my opinion.

Same with me, constantly talking with opposing cousel, we mediated, came to an agreement. The language in the settlement was so vague I ended up paying for but never getting what was agreed upon. Instead of rectifying an obvious error made on her part, she insisted that I have her file a motion and pay her all over again. Make sure she lists the property in question by its legal description, and not marital property or residence.

Colleen Norman was hired in a family law case to handle a trial that already was set. She chose to not follow client direction and request by trying to negotiate with opposing party. This case was in the 5th year and there was no chance of negotiating. She had unadvised lengthy phone conversations with opposing party. Norman then tries to persuade me to follow OP's proposal which was not in my or child's best interest. When she realized that I realized she was not in my best interest and she would have to prep for trial she began looking for ways to withdraw eventually right before trial she created a false purpose to withdraw from case. She was a disaster that made my case worse.
