I hired Shannon Holloway to represent me in a child custody case. Shannon said that her fees for the entire case would be $8,000.00. I paid her $4,000.00 up front and later made another payment of $1,000.00. Once Shannon had my money I practically never heard from her. She filed a couple of responses to motions but would never respond to my emails or return my phone calls. I needed an aggressive attorney and she is far from it. On one occassion she incorrectly filed paperwork on my child support so now I over pay by over $300.00 every month! When I later confronted Shannon about her poor performance and communication she said that she could no longer represent me! After only having my case for a few weeks and doing practically nothing on it, she still kept $3,120.00 of my money (she charged me almost $200.00 to write the paperwork saying she quit)! I work in law enforcement and have several attorney friends who agreed they would NEVER treat a client in such a way. WORST attorney ever!
