WARNING - DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER!! Waited over 2 years (from Jan 2021 - Jan 2023) for our divorce to be complete. We kept asking Mr. Taskey to follow up and find out the status of the divorce and finally went to Edmonton Court House January 6, 2023 myself to find out what the delay was - I was devastated to find out that Mr. Taskey had only filed half of the required paperwork- then when he finally submitted the rest of the paperwork, the court house rejected it twice as it was not filled out properly. When confronted with his incompetence, this lawyer 'washed his hands of his professional responsibility" and left it for the other lawyer to complete, did not even apologize for his negligence - nor did he offer to refund the fees collected from his clients who paid him in good faith to complete the case he had accepted. Totally unprofessional!!

Won't respond to emails or phone calls. Takes on too many clients and doesn't have time for anyone. Chose a lawyer wisely, I learned my lesson the hard way

Recommended by my realtor for my first time home title transfer. there was a problem about appliances from seller side. instead of negotiating for me with them, he was negotiating for them with me! finally without informing me, he closed the case and sent documents to me!not happy at all and not recommending.

I came across Chris with a very difficult and unique divorce situation that he was able to navigate through the complexity of my situation. During the entire process, I had the utmost confidence that he was working for MY best interests. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable and personable, but I also appreciated his patience and availability. I cannot say enough good things about the level of his customer service and would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a great lawyer.

Used this lawyer and had a terrible experience. He is very hard to get a hold of and when you do have to tell him the whole story over and over again. Stay away from this guy. Hired another lawyer and had everything done and won in less than 2 months not years.
