Steven Fried is someone you want on your side during a separation. I am really glad I found him and like someone else mentioned, not only he is a good lawyer, but he is also a fair and good person.

My experience differs from the other reviews. Perhaps my case was a little more complex since it was an inter-jurisdictional custody matter. I felt my case dragged longer than it should have and too much back and forth. I did find Mr. Fried professional and knew the law inside and out, but I found he was too nice about things at times and my first impression after meeting him based on his 23 years experience was he would be a shark. After two case conference dates set, and then pulled and more back and forth. I was ready to accept I wouldn't get my custody order, and my ex would not get what he wanted access or visitation. Ultimately, when Mr. Fried knew no more money would be coming from me he did come through and wrap the case up. It took almost a year after everything was said and done.

After going through several attorneys in a Family Court matter that went on for years, a friend suggested Mr. Fried. He is courteous, understanding, sympathetic and a man of his word who got me results. I found this site while looking for a real estate lawyer or I'd have done this much sooner. I wish he practised real estate law! Thank you Mr. Fried.
